Snake River Expedition Cedar Point - Pre-Show + POV - FULL Attraction 

Hey, I was actually a contractor who worked on this ride in summer of 2020, I was with the crew working on the large snake animatronic at the end of the ride. Awesome to see it all finished!

Hey! I was a production artist for this ride. My coworkers and I worked really hard (along with other companies and the Cedar Point crew) to bring a great ride for the park. It’s wonderful to see it complete along with the ride actors!

My favorite parts of the ride are the falling tree, the exploding outhouse, and the basilisk. All of those effects are really impressive. I also loved the queue, the pre-show, and my skipper was really funny. I think this is an excellent ride if the actors do a good job.

Great idea! Happy that Cedar Point is doing stuff like this. Hopefully the people there can appreciate this more than they've done with Forbidden Frontier. Speaking of which, I'm pretty sure both attractions would be significantly more popular if they simply tied the stories in together. Better yet, unload guests onto the island for Frontier instead right after the snake encounter and allow them to explore the island! The major issue I see here is going to be queue times. Jungle Cruise is loading people every 30 seconds and getting them out. Looks like between the preshow and the loading times, they're getting 30-something people out every 3 or 4 minutes which just isn't good enough. As much as I love what I see here, guest sat is going to be in the toilet if people are waiting for an hour+ for it. Even Jungle Cruise doesn't make sense if the line is over 30 minutes most of the time.

It looks nice but I hope cedar point adds more stuff over the years. Maybe cover up some of the non-themed stuff up more.

I got on this yesterday as well. Is POV footage allowed? I wasn't sure if this ride was an exception to the usual rule. I thought it was a great ride.

We went on this Sunday first day it opened. It was .good for kids and families. Cheesy as you might expect. Line was 1:40 and I can't say it was worth the wait. That said, it's an ok family ride. It takes about maybe 10-15minutes .Id go again.

Did anyone get wet on this? The snake shot water out and got us, but on another video it missed the people completely. Just wondering if it is supposed to miss and we were just "lucky"? 😄

If they were planing on ripping off Disney, they should have hired a real comedian to writer these jokes.

They gotta work on the script. Lame version of The Jungle Cruise.
