Tundra was a happy girl just being outside with her Dad.She did really good on her sit/stay, when you went up the road. Good girl Tundra. It always amazes me when I watch them run how much ground they cover and how fast they are. I love watching mine run. They just go all out like Tundra. 💜🐾🐾🐾
I take my little dogs out here in SE Arizona every day. They have learned to stay away from snakes but my oldest, a 15 year old Manchester Terrier, got bit twice as he aged. He went deaf and couldn't hear the snake then got cataracts and couldn't see well. He pulled thru both times, once with antivenin. He finally passed away last week from natural causes. I will miss him, he was a loyal friend.
I've met other GSP. Owners that have owned GSP exclusively, after having my male GSP ,I understand why, these dogs are intelligent, great companions, really good with other dogs and kids.
The rattlers will probably be out most in the areas with more vegetation in the mornings and night out there. When it gets scorching hot during the day it gets to be too hot even for them. I went North of the Las Vegas River near the wetlands at night in the summer once and it was terrifying how many were out. Keep Tundra safe.
Thank you for this. Hot days over here isn’t that pleasant for Tundra since we need to be more careful when we’re out. We try to get her out early in the morning before the sunrise. We will keep her safe 😀
My GSP just alerted me to a garter snake alongside the house. He is definitely nervous with snakes! He respects their ability to STARE, lol. I just touched him on his side while he was watching the serpent and he about jumped out of his skin!
What a good boy. Tundra doesn’t alert us at all. She went straight to the snake and was trying to play with it. Luckily it was just a little harmless snake and not a rattler 😅
Trundra so good on her sit stay bet tht tar Mac gets really hot in the sun we try to walk on grass whn it’s really hot here otherwise burn there paws😩but u said u do her walk early morning so it’s not hot out gsp would not stay tht long waiting 😂
Yes, they do get hot but it wasn’t too bad since it was early morning. The ground gets hot here in the summer where it will burn her paws. Her stay is good but sometimes she is stubborn and doesn’t want to wait 😂
She did a very good job. And i like it so much when she needs a break on the sofa. And i m very interesting in snakes, but i m so afraid of them , because of their meander😳 ( moving)..😎
Thank you. Tundra loves to relax on the sofa like a queen and it’s so cute 🥰. Yes, snakes are interesting but we need to be a bit careful with the poisonous ones 😀.
@@tundrathegsp yes, please be very carefully with the Rattlesnakes,..🍀🙏🏻🍀Today i watched some videos of your channel on Tv and it looks much better 😍so big not like my handy😎. And the Video in the snow and when tundra grow up were especially. 🙏🏻🍀🙏🏻🙋🏼♀️😍😍👍👍
Awww Thank you. We will be careful with the snakes. Yes, videos are a lot better on TV and is a lot clearer. We watch other dog channels on it as well 😀
We need to get her a new pair because her boots has holes in them. Luckily the ground wasn’t too hot and the rocks around here isn’t like the ones up in the hills.
@@tundrathegsp Nice. I have one for my gsp too. Such a great tool, sadly it gets such a bad rep. Do you ever get negative comments about it when you're walking her?
They really do get a bad rep and we totally understand why. My wife and i were against it when Tundra was a pup and did not ever wanted to get one. Until 3 incidents happened (2 of them where we almost lost Tundra off-leash) and it really made us consider getting one. It is a game changer and a great tool to prevent bad situations from happening. We’re so glad we made that decision because now we can take her anywhere with confidence. Also, we rarely have to buzz her because she understands what we want from her. We have not gotten any bad comments.
@@tundrathegsp Pretty much exactly what happened to me. I was very much against e-collars, until my gsp got away from me and was getting ready to run into traffic. After this happened a second time I decided I needed an immediate solution before he got himself killed. Worked very well, now he's perfect off leash and gained so much more freedom than he had before. Unfortunately, most people with a negative view of e-collars won't change their mind without getting first hand experience which is unlikely to happen unless they have no other choice.
