Quick addendum, the cutscenes, altho' directed by Shinkawa (I believe?), was mostly drawn by Ashely Wood, who also worked on Portable Ops and worked on art for theMGS1 and 2 comic adaptations (2 is a hoot how they adapted its twists and turns). That said, character designs were still by Shinkawa I believe, but yeah, cutscenes where mostly Wood.
All of this is correct. That mgs1 comic was awesome. They handled the psycho mantis section really well considering you can't change controller port on a comic book.
Big Boss killing dinosaurs and dragons sounds oddly believably canon. I could imagine him basically being like, "that was weird" and then go on with life like nothing happened.
Dude I thought this was gonna be a modded monster hunter gameplay with a big boss reskin. What a pleasant surprise to find out it’s just a feature in peace walker 😂
Two of my favorite franchises combined is so cool I played peace walker on the psp when I was a kid and had played monster hunter tri not to long after and seeing these collaborations makes me nostalgic when these were so prevalent instead of companies only wanting their ip I say let the goofy out
Im on the opposite end. I’ve only played monster hunter and never touched a metal gear game. So it’s crazy to see how cool it works in the monster hunter formula
I'm down for Death Stranding lore! Only found two channels on that front, Moxie Wats and T-L-G-T-W so it would be awesome to hear your views on the matter as well!
Mgs1 elevator fight was so good omg. They managed to make the codec call with Ocelot into a jump scare. Also good video, i didn't know about the MH mini game at all.
Long while i have seen anyone make video about the crossover. I only recently discovered that many people never knew that Monster Hunter was ingame. If you play the psp version you can also experience the extra music that comes with a DLC i have uploaded that to my channel. Hopping that Konami releases MGSPW with Multiplayer.
From what I remember the fans main contention with metal gear solid 4 was the fact that it was a PS3 exclusive and was too big to even go over to xbox and this was a big debate at the time I remember people arguing that of course they'll port it but then others would say that they would have to use at least seven discs to fit it on the system
I just remember people rrally hating certain aspects of the game itself but my biggest problem with it is basically that. Its been perpetually locked to ps3 or rpcs3 so i totally agree with that being a major issue with it
Any thoughts about Kojima's announcement about a new Espionage/Action game?! Think there's any chance it's another MGS? Would love hearing you ramble about Death Stranding 2 trailer, it raised SO many questions!
The culmination of all his work, its probably years away but i cant wait. Ill probably make a rant video or something like that to ramble about it because i definitely want too after that death stranding 2 trailer
The cutscenes are by ashly wood not shinkawa, and the mgs2 skateboard wasnt a tony hawk crossover, it was konamis skateboarding game. And it was only in mgs2 substance.
Thanks for the correction im mainly going off memory with those bits. For some reason tho i really thought it was tony hawk lmao but of course its konamis skate game i shouldve figured
Never played more than ten minutes of anything in MG franchise. As a retrogamer should I start with the old ones? Or are they too janky and newcomers should start with a later game?
