I’ve bought the same air hammer and I don’t like snap on tools but it’s hands down the best air hammer I’ve ever bought!! Also I just discovered this channel this morning 1/13/2019 and have watched about 10 episodes and I will be subbing today. Very easy to watch videos!!

I've demolished Volvo axles with that air hammer that have the spilt style cones on them that become threaded and seized really bad over time. But be careful.... It will make those cones shoot out like a bullet and shatter a window in the bay behind you.. let alone put an eye out. LOL

I honestly don’t know. I don’t have any of the FDX sockets all mine are regular sockets but to be 100% honest with you I mostly use Impact Sockets even on my ratchets. I have a drawer full of chrome but I like that one socket does it all.

All a matter of opinion. I say buy the one from the dealer that treats you best. All tools break or wear out. The tools are only as good as the dealer that sold them to you

I definitely wear hearing protection the whole 9-hours I’m at work. Between the impacts that I use, co-workers use, and random Bead-Zooka blasts that the tire guys randomly do, it’s always good practice. I want to still be able to hear at age 40.

Take a look at those plugfones they are great. You can use them to listen to music via Bluetooth and take calls etc. the battery life is amazing. They have a silicon earpiece you can use or foam, they are very comfortable too

2ndismyright obviously, it’s nearly a 0.498” shank vs the snap on 0.401” shank. 0.498” bits are harder to find. So every mechanic must have a 0.401” for all different situations: long bits, fan clutch removal, etc. also the 0.498” is most likely going to suck more air than a 0.401”
