Looks like that is a factory tool only function. It has to be set up in the Instrument Panel Control Module.

Hi jason, Been watching your videos to try and learn what scanners in general can do. I have a 2015 jeep cherokee sport with the 2.4l 9 speed trans that seems to have a common problem with the gears changing roughly. My jeep dealer doesn't know what the problem is. How can I find out what checks, or programming I can do on my jeep. Thanks

For flash reprogramming, I would refer to FCA's tech website for their J2534 software. As far as your specific issue, I would check TSBs first and check for codes to give you a direction.

If you are talking about reflashing (writing new software), then no. If it's programming (like setting whether the lights come on with the wipers) then yes, depending if the vehicle supports it.

The scanner programming / coding functions will work on a Solus Edge. The Reflashing needs a J2534 passthru device.

If you are in the US, you can call tech support at 1-800-424-7226 and they may be able to get you a users manual. As far as specific functions on a specific vehicle, that information isn't in the manual, but would be up to the vehicle manufacturer.
