Awesome video. Those high leverage pliers are awesome, I love mine. It’s not something I use everyday but when I need to get ahold of something to pull and not let go those are my go to pliers. That bit driver is really nice too. I’d like to have one of those jackets myself I need to talk to Hamilton that is one sweet jacket !
Good job showing the the two pliers will definitely get those and make some jobs a little easier....that is a nice coat need to see if my rep has those, thanks again for the vids keep them coming
Jeremy, you truly are one a great Snap On guy. The fact that you took the time to think of wanted cards to keep up with what your customers want is amazing. There needs to be more guys like you here in South Florida. The guys I have had to deal with down here have been horrible. Got to the point where a few of the guys including me at the old shop I used to work at would personally call up another driver on a different route, meet him on our lunch break, just to get the tools we needed or have stuff replace that we had broken. Keep up the great work man!
There's one thing that i gotta say about Snap-on tools is they have there very own style in everything i mean everything and you can't even try to compare there quality to anyone else. There just the best of the best hands down
You know I was always against snap on but I just started buying snap on and I tell you what I was lost but now I’ve been found I see preacher snap on Dave every Tuesday now
Truely best of the best, the old mechanic chirped the shit out of me for buying tools off the snapon truck, now he says he wished someone told him to just buy good tools when he started, but hes constantly using my tools for everything
Wow those are nice pliers I will have to pick them up. The most used pliers in my box are the pistol grip pliers and my all time favorite are my pwz pliers.
Parrot pliers are cool. Not sure if I need them. But great price. Other pliers are diff a must. Mmm I say save the jackets for your route. Unless you have 1 to spare. And honestly in Cali I can’t even wear a long sleeve we officially don’t get no cold weather.
I have a set of the high leverage pliers in my box somewhere! Never use them, might need to bring them to the front of the pliers drawer and give them another go!
ill be getting some of those pliers on wednesday when my snap on guy stops by. love these videos they have turned me on to some tools i never thought i would need. i work on jet skis and boats does snap on make any tools directed at that industry? if they do maybe you could do a video on them.
I like your sign, "I had to pay my car insurance, etc. Excuses. So do we!" That's so true. We all pay Bill's. Stop buying stuff you cant afford. It's such a bad problem in America
Great video again. What snap on need to be doing is putting a metal eyelet on the bottom of the tool boxes so we can secure them with chains, I've had to do that to my 40 inch stack and that involves drilling through the bottom of the box, I am a bit reluctant to do it to my new masters box, but it's the only way.
Yeah the penny cutting with the pliers sold me about 44 years ago. I think they cost about $10 back then. They still work great. Are the new style cut in the talon grip. Keep the vids coming.
Parrot nose pliers are awesome! I've had my Channel Lock 12"s (I know, I know their not crack off) for many years. They are the unsung hero's of the plier world. The plier of last resort. They will mare whatever they touch but if you really want it off they usually succeed. Otherwise it's a die grinder or torch! They will beat Vise-Grips all day long. The only people I have ever seen use them are professional techs. Like the new style cam pliers.
Little known fact. The Blue point chn-410 is in fact Chanellock 410s with red grips. I own them. They are great. They can also be bought under the Cornwell brand CCL-410 with orange grips. I also believe Mac has them too
Love your videos. Wish my snap on guy had cool stuff on his truck. He has very few items, comes once maybe twice a month... He's losing business to the mac and matco guys since they have a good inventory. I swear only a few go into his truck and we're 200 employees working on transit buses. There's always a line for the matco guy...
Never saw those high leverage pliers before, very neat. I got a tub of those tool cleaning towels you recommended a few vids back; they made my grungy Instinct handles look new again! Can we expect an October flier soon? Thanks Jermey and Shy Jamie for a great vid. (And Trackie and Ebony too!)
I can’t wait to see my Snap-on guy to get those pliers. Those grip! Would have never known how great they without you dude! Give away some pliers! :D or make some Haasl decals or stickers. I’d buy one! Thanks for the great videos man!
Maybe you can setup a P.O. Box and have people send in pictures of their tools, toolbox, tool storage area, and an address to send the jacket. Then you can do a live RU-vid video where you randomly pick a picture from the pile and they get the jacket. It is a pretty cool jacket.
I hear its good to buy a box at the end of the year because thats when deals are got any tips on how to get some good deals? Also the pliers are awesome i use the parrot pliers because they are great at grabbing rounded stuff
Those parrot jaw pliers look almost identical to the Channellock 410 pliers I just picked up. Awesome pliers and judging by the Blue Point part number I wouldn't be surprised if the only difference is the handle color!
@@christophernatale2787 well they probably did cheap out and go to channel lock for pliers and still charge for knipex quality I don't know about right now but all the tool trucks carried rebranded knipex at one tim ever notice how all the handles are knipex red
Love your videos as always the high leverage pliers will find a spot in my box next week.and I should have my jacket this week with some new 1/4 thl72 thllf72 thlf72.as far as a give away maybe you can a fundraiser for a good cause like animal rescue food bank where everybody send you a money order made out to that charity and we all put a SMILE ON.
The last couple of videos I have watched by you (which I enjoy watching be the way) .......You continue to mention to viewers not to contact you for buying tools because of Snap On's Territorial Marketing Franchise agreements with the dealers. . . . . . The Fact that people are still trying to buy tools from you anyway is a testimony to just how hard and difficult it is to find a Snap On dealer if you are not an auto mechanic. I am an Electrician and my local Snap On rep is not listed in the phone book, he is not online and I could NOT find the the local dealer in my area. Finally, one morning I seen a Snap On truck parked in the Burger King parking lot. I immediately pulled in and parked my truck right beside him so I could get the phone number off of his truck, but he didn't have his phone number on it (only his name) and I literally waited 40 minutes for him to come out and get in his truck (so I could flag him down). As he was getting in his truck I asked him if he was open for business, he said yes and he invited me in. . . . .But what I found inside his truck was a huge disapointment. He had two huge tool boxes blocking the back half of the truck off , and the front half was stocked with mostly T-Shirts, hats and wall clocks. There were two seperate pocket knife displays and a large shelf filled with all sorts of flash lights and there were bags of beef jerky hanging every where (((( it was like his tool truck had everything on it except tools. When I told him what tools I was looking for he said that he would have to order it.(I could've ordered it myself from Snap On's website if I had wanted to do that)......I don't understand why Snap On will not let you guys deal to Electricians, Plumbers and cable technicias that aren't on your route(but not on anyone else's route either) since all of the dealer's routes are compressed toward auto repair shops. Some of these dealers act like they dont want to be found and then when you do find them, their trucks hardly have anything on them.
The reason I say that is that I get multiple messages per day, and the guys sometimes are persistent that I sell them things. I can’t. I agree it’s flattering that they want to do business with me, I would sell a ton but it’s part of the rules that they have made up and I can loose everything if I don’t follow them. That being said today I had 7 requests from this very video of people asking me to sell them things, even after I said in the video that I can’t. It’s unfortunate the experience you had with the dealer there, but I’m glad you did find a guy. Plus you guys keep me in check as well, when you comment about things you don’t like, I often question wether or not I’m doing the same things from time to time, so that I thank all of you.
Those are 786CF. store.snapon.com/Standard-Diagonal-6-Diagonal-Flush-Cut-Cutter-P929164.aspx I was going to get a set last week and my guy sold out what few he had in the first couple of days. We use a ton of zip ties and these are perfect even at that price.
Ive had the high .leverage pliers for years and nothing comes close to gripping power for the size. Is there a locking version of the parrot nose pliers?
On about 2012 they changed the classic 78 or kra2411 from one large top drawer to the kra2422 with two large drawers. The first release of these boxes they took off the classic 78 decal and had put on the “ss” logo representing the new design with the two large drawers.
I wish I could buy from you I don’t have someone to go to can I get them off the Internet I love you videos I appreciate it if you have the time to let me know thank you
I've used pliers like you broke the lag screw with.. they do grip! They are nice!! But those are grade 2 lags... You can snap the heads off with a 1/4" ratchet... LoL
Make one or two of those jackets a Xmas giveaway. Two people would be really really happy. Maybe do a Instagram promo but they have to be subscriber's on RU-vid as well. Help you promote both social media platforms.
Do a video with community members questions-pick one to get the jacket. Shy Jamie should sign off waving wearing a snap on hat behind your comp, or a prop. Make it a running gaga
Say those parrots pliers are Channellock brand correct? We all know blue point is the value/private label type brand but what many people think is ALL Blue Point is Taiwan and China made products which isn't the case.. I think it maybe worth mentioning which BP tools shown are made in USA if applicable. That's a really sweet new hex ratchet!.. Now im gonna mention something and I hope you'll start taking notes on your sales of power tools that when one of the dewalts or Milwaukee's release a new tool or redesign something that it will actually help boost your own sales with people having the idea of a new power tool in mind.
Fill a Jar of Lag bolts and guess how many are in it for the contest, and is there a actual part number for the jacket if we wanted to buy one from the SO site or call SO to find one? I think I meant to ask that and it came out as if I was asking you personally. =)
Hey I wonder if you can answer a question for me I have FCF72 rachet and I would really like to swap the handle to a comfort grip 1/4 inch rachet handle but my two local snap on guys say it won't work I'm not sure if there being honest or if they just don't want to do it?? And also if that is possible what would the part number be for just the comfort grip handle
@@Haasltools is it possible to get a comfort grip handle on that model or do a basically have to buy a 1/4 inch model and switch out the internals in the 1/4 inch head to a 3/8ths?
KhaosGardenz Couldn't you buy the thlf72 or thlx72 and sub out the internals using the repair kit rkrfc72? You'd have to buy the fc72 backing plate, I don't know the part number. Appreciate your videos Mr Hassl I may have to upgrade my old Vacuum Grip pliers pretty soon to those new high leverage pliers.
A giveaway would be great on a jacket.., or really anything..! I don’t know how to explain to you how to go about it.. Have us pick a number in a video and you can do a random number generator for the number on the internet, or just write them down and draw one out of a hat, if no one claims the number within 24hrs.., draw another.
Yes do a give away just keep it to small stuff but make it so people have to watch the whole video with clues thru a series of videos to be able to enter with the right answer to a question at the end just a thought
Well I like Snapon on hand tools the best but in cordless battery operated tool impact and drills don’t but it is waste of money Milwaukee tools is kicking Snapon because they even pay the shipping label to get the tools back a return back to you, no questions for five years tool and three years battery with the is affordable, that’s value on the consumer.
