well he did say in that video that after the recent update he got it was much better. and the report of the x elite being worse than an iphone 12 was due to the same reason, it was being capped to 2.5ghz.
@@ShermanChin exciting times ahead. hopefully these chips are the real deal so we get actual windows competition. windows chips been stale for so long. intel and AMD need competition.

It is only launched in North America today so I really don't think it will be in Malaysia so soon. The only company I have seen advertising Snapdragon X Elite laptops coming to Malaysia on FB is Asus with its Vivobook.
Not surprising but (and I do think after software updates it will perform a lot better) why do they always keep going on about how much better it is than M3 and give all these impressive statements! Everytime they do this it just makes consumers lose confidence in anything they say. I think when everything settles it will perform at around M2 levels which for me is decent enough at £1,000 price point for what I do (which is no gaming, just office apps but I want long battery life and a nice design).

@@ShermanChin Yes but soon the trick won't work anymore. I knew something was strange when they mentioned Macbook Air M3 all the time in their own event - maybe more so than actual Snapdragon laptops :-). Thank you for your content. Much appreciated. I will still take the risk and get a Surface Pro. I do all media work / creative on an iPad in any case. So it will be ok
