Why death eaters cant cast patronus?

@@insanandabekov240 for making a patronus, one needs lots of happy memories, love, affection, friendship, all kinds of positivity. Which lacks in death eaters and voldemort. But professor Snape was a bit different from others. He had lots of happy memories of lily Potter. They grew up together. Although different families, but in childhood, they spent lots of time together. And that was the reason why Snape and lily had same patronus. Harry might have spent most of his early days with his father with his father. And so, their patronus is same. A stag. While snspe's patronus was a doe.. Same for lily Potter. Other death eaters don't have any positive vibes, happy feelings or very happy memories.. So they can't cast a patronus. It is a very powerful magic. Not every wizard or witch can make one. It is also mentioned in the book. After Fred 's death,, George could not cast any patronus as all of his happy and fond memories were linked with his twin brother. Who is gone forever. (in book).

The other side can be seen with Slughorn, Severus, Draco, Sebastian, and Ominous from the game. Slytherin, is a good house, ambitious, and a bit hard hearted in a few. Lily did cared about snape. It was snape who chose to keep friendship with the people who are interested in dark magic. He chose his side from the school time itself. Which girl would want a partner like that.

Yea, well, the actually makes it sound weird. I mean, anyone who read the book more than once knows that. As a Potter Head, I read Harry Potter 14 times.

Well no, because Harry would be a different child altogether. If James wasn't that father, Harry would look nothing like him and wouldn't be called "Harry Potter", he'd be called "Harry Snape". Unless Snape steps in and doesn't want that name, then they'd have to compromise and come up with a new name. So no, Harry wouldn't exist if Snape and Lily were an item.
