By asking Dumbledore to hide them, the Potters knew they were in danger, therefore, Lily had time to use her love to protect Harry...who therefore lived and destroyed Voldemort. There would have been no warning or hiding the Potters if anyone else had heard and told the prophesy to Voldemort. The Potters would have in all probability died, including Harry, and Voldemort would have continued his reign of terror. Just a thought.

Not only that Snape risked all his life to save Harry just for his eternal love for lily despite James and his friends being the reason behind his decision to become a death eater He saved Harry numerous times at the quidditch, by sending him his patronus to find the sword of gryffindor, penetrating his mind to teach him to block voldemort even taking the unbreakable vow for Draco in disguise knowing fully well that he had been chosen by voldemort to kill dumbledore and eventually Harry . Ironically , he died the most dreadful death and it was only then that he revealed his true identity to Harry by pleading him to store his tears and take it to the pensieve just to let him know that Harry himself was a horcrux to be destroyed with the only emotion professing was that Harry had his mother Lily's eyes. It reminds me of Oscar Wilde saying that ones eyes are the windows to ones soul
Snape is irreplaceable,to me he is the hero of the movie,I enjoy watching his scenes only,he looks sexy 🔥when he flips his hair like he did when his cloak was on fire,my palms & feet get sweaty, my heart races, I feel discomfort on left side of my chest+my tummy +body starts to pain,I get panic attacks and feel emotional when I see Alan & this happens everytime 😭I love him so much🥺
