I really don't notice that he is the most loved of the series As far as I been seeing, he is most hated with a few how really love him or at least have a little respect
@@PhazonInfuser why people don't understand that when any book adaptation is made there is already two versions of that story. Movie Snape was very different from book version. Filmmaker deliberately made that choice and that makes movie Snape very likable.
No one but Rickman could have played that role. Severus Snape is without any doubt one of the greatest characters ever created. And he is hands down the best and most critically important character in the series. Because there is no Harry Potter without Severus Snape keeping him safe from the shadows.
The music of this scene really pulled off the sad effect. The true master of this scene is indeed the music composer. I did really cry when I watched this scene.
Ginanjar Putu Wijaya alexandre desplat is a brilliant composer. he did both deathly hallows movies, as well as rise of the guardians and the shape of water. they're all wonderful scores, you should check them out.
The most epic, tear-jerking moment in film history... Oh, my gosh... after reading "The Prince's Tale" chapter for the first time in the book somewhere in August 2007, all I could think was "I can't WAIT to see that in the final film.". During the four-year wait period, I cannot describe in words how much I anticipated seeing Snape's memories on the big screen. I cried just thinking about it! I cried pretty hard seeing "Harry Potter and Half-Blood Prince", and noticing all the subtle foreshadowings of Snape's innocence. "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1" stayed so true to the book, I felt more relaxed and confident that I wasn't going to be let down in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2". Let me tell you... after Snape says to Harry "You have your mother's eyes", I was a total goner. Even though that line wasn't in the book, it TOTALLY sets the mood for the upcoming revelation sequence... and it was then that it hit home for me. I was thinking: "This is it... I know I'm gonna cry like a baby and my nose is gonna run, but I'm ready. As if it wasn't epic enough... drawing out the preparation scene to a near-solid minute of total silence as Harry slowly walks into Dumbledore's office, takes out the pensieve, and pours the memories was a PURE stroke of genius. Man, that moment felt like it lasted for an eternity... when I first saw this at midnight. FAR more effective than in the book, where Harry rushes up to the office and does it quickly to "assuage his torturing grief", as Rowling describes. In the theater I was in, every single viewer in the audience was totally breathless... you could have heard a pin drop. I loved "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 so much, I saw it a total 7 times while it was in theaters. Truly the most epic and emotionally gripping movie I've ever seen.
A true fan. Your comment says it all. I saw it Seven times as well in the theaters. One of those times was at the place where I saw the Sorcerer's Stone. Wherever you are, you're one awesome fan, brother!
THE BEST SCENE IN HARRY POTTER HANDS DOWN!!! Emotions were running wild with this scene; very powerful in its nature and tell you so much... WOW!!! #HP4EVERANDALWAYS. R.I.P Alan Rickman
But without the cheering and such. Didn't know that was a thing somewhere, but boy would I be frustrated beyond belief...Just finished rewatching the entire movie series, and even now seeing people cheer and yell right through the movie makes me so annoyed...
I don't think there's ever been a more emotional or powerful "always" spoken. You don't take into consideration Snapes' involvement in Harry's life, particularly in the first couple of films. This scene was very well done.
too bad i was too young and i did not have the right mind what was happening in snape's situation because i was 8 yrs old. i just love harry potter and its magic effects I wish I was older watching this to understand how snape had been through
The best written character in the entire saga... In the movies he went very unnoticed, except on a few occasions, but in the books he is much, much deeper and, without the need for the impact of the film's images, he really gives you It breaks inside to see that a character so apparently cold and superficial in his hatred, contains such great depth within.
This scene made me love Snape when I first saw the movie. I never really liked it cared about Snape, but when I saw this it nearly made me cry. Truly powerful scene :)
it’s funny, when i was younger i liked him a lot because he always seemed like the black sheep, and i was so confused as to why he was so mysterious. i misunderstood his character as i got older, and up until recently, i didn’t like him. i’ve heard he’s not the same in the books, and it’s harder to empathize with him in regards to lily and his love for her. but as far as the movies go, this sealed the deal for me. snape is a beautifully written character, and definitely a favorite.
When I saw this in theaters on the day it came out. Everyone cried cause we saw that Harry was wrong about snape. Dumbledore didn’t care about Harry as much as snape did.
Every people in the cinema were crying and the ground is full of tissues And passing tissues there faces is full of tears Like this if u truly luv snape
Navil Ferdouse they did that when I went to saw the movie when it first came out. At the end credits people stood up clapping and cheering and other crying.
I don’t get how people still hated Snape after this. Yes, he was mean towards other people and certainly not perfect in any way, but i dont get how people say he wasn’t kind. In his core he was kind, or else he would never have given Harry his memories to show him how he truly felt inside.
At the beginning everyone was coughing ... by the Always moment everyone was silently crying as they were not only watching, but were totally engulfed by the enormous emotion in The Prince's Tale, the most heart-rending chapter of them all (and not only for Snily shippers). Alexandre Desplat, Alan Rickman, JK Rowling, David Yates, Steve Kloves, Bloomsbury editors, et cetera: thank you for doing such a perfect job on this scene.
I heard some sobs here and there 😢 there’s not much you can say during a scene like this. On the contrary, silence is the best option to fully appreciate it…
Yeah, I know, it doesn't make sense. I read somewhere that Rowling apparently approved those different names. But brazilian readers often criticize that (I don't know if the same thing happens to Portuguese editions)
Vitor Soares yes, I know that in some countries they decided to change some of the names of the characters but I’m from Argentina and in the Spanish translation they kept ALL the original names so I can’t see why they didn’t the same with the Portuguese one
Well, then don't put 'reactions' there, if there aren't any. The reaction to Bellatrix dying or fred and george flying off was visible. I don't know how they should've reacted, maybe they would've went; 'Awww..' or 'ooohhh..' or 'aahhhh..' or 'hmmm..'?
