Snapping in the Basic Text! Mind blown - I did not know this!!

Checked on the official forum: "Its not a feature, put it in feature request." Thank you for actually helping people! Unlike what my research has found.

My guess for that weird emoji behavior is that it’s using some other emoji font. As such, selecting a dedicated emoji font (such as Noto Emoji) may fix it. Not to mention we can probably even have different styles of emojis Edit: Can confirm, it works! also, a weird behavior in MacOS, I can’t seem to use the emoji picker right inside the box. I had to type the emoji somewhere else then copy-paste it in Resolve.

If you are using a downloaded font then remember to copy it to any other machine you might be working on. Exporting the project doesn't take a copy, even if you export a .dra file with your media.

I think the ❤ emoji looks different because it's part of the selected font. If a font contains doesn't contain an emohi the system emoji is used. (Just from memory, didn't verify it)

Thank you, Alex. Just a note about fonts. Definitely be very careful when installing True Type fonts from an unknown site as said can be malicious (i.e., can carry a payload).

Stroke is not working with Arabic Language Or Hebrew Language, I hope DaVinci Resolve Support team will fix this issue soon. The problem is when you set stroke to 1 or higher the Arabic title or Hebrew title will disappear.

This basic stuff is mundane and it must be so, so boring to you guys who zoom around in this platform like a fighter pilot but for us armatures who hunt-&-peck around to find anything it is like giving us a ray of hope that some we'll fly like a commander.

I wish they would add character level styling on Text+ as well on the edite page 😢 And preset animation like capcut would be nice 😅

I believe, if your emojis are getting cut off at the top, as seen in the video. Just make a line break, put the emojis on the second row and they should be in their full glory.

Got a weird one for you. If I am using Text+ on the edit page to manually create and time the appearance of words, I will often make one then copy it, eventually copying larger groups based on the number of words I need, then change the word in each text+ and move the splits in trim mode to get the words where they need to be My question is, is there a way to select the next text+ item and easily change the text? Currently, I'm finding I have to click the text item, then click the text field in the inspector to change the text. Hoping there's a way to eliminate clicking anything, and just select the next or previous text+ , and the text field in the inspector be automatically selected. Long post, huh 😅

I've watched this video and your other previous one and nothing I do can allow me to use Emojis in Davinci with an external monitor and keyboard. The ctrl + cmd + space thing works OUTSIDE of Davinci but does nothing inside of it. Wonder if it's a using external display vs not type of issue?

Just if they enable font searching. How come a great software like Resolve doesn't support searching the font of the list of fonts
