I have both. I have had the Pewter Copperphonic since it came out nearly four years ago. I have had my Superphonic since the early '80's. It seems, like the Supraphonic, the Copperphonic is a drum that could stay on the snare stand all night no matter what music you were playing.
I have both of these. Guitar center is now selling the pewter copperphonic at a discounted price $559.00 it was listed at $899.00. Great drum at either price but I'm glad I got the discount while trading an old cymbal
