The fact that Mike League wrote this entire album by himself, evry single part for every single instrument is absolutely mind blowing. The guy is a total genius.
I believe Jules Buckley, the conductor for Metropole Orkest, helped him arrange most of the song in the album, especially the orchestra parts But yeah the fact the Micheal League wrote every songs in the album is crazy in itself
@@worraw3337Micheal said he made everything and Cole just “cleaned” to make sure Micheal would appears like he knows what he was doing lol so yeah, Micheal was the greatest genius of this masterpiece
I never knew these recordings can get any better, but here we are! So crisp and immersive. I truly feel like im in the room when listening to this with good headphones.
I am no audiophile, but I feel like this remaster took away more than it gave me. The cello part at 1:05 is so important, yet it is barely audible, the moog/trombone line around 2:30 would not be very discernible had it not been for the guitars playing the same thing, the moog line is too quiet around 3:47, generally the lead instruments dont stand out as much, the trombone suddenly drastically changes its sound at 9:38 unless I am missing something, the trombone part doesnt sound as massive at 9:58, the lead trumpet joining at 10:47, too, is so much milder than before, not bringing as much energy. To me this remaster boosts cool minor details and brings some improvements (sax solo, guitar/bass lines, drum sound and percussions) while pushing some important parts into the "background", but I am aware it might just be that I am used to the original version. Sadly the original versions are not available anymore, otherwise there would be nothing to complain about.
Yeahhh... dang, as this got further in Im feeling the same way... its too clean.. maybe less ambient bleed? It feels like its overly automated.. like unless its on the screen you hear it and then its kinda gone.. But yeah I know the OG from this so well. I like some of the details but it doesnt actually sound like the original did.. its too small? idk.. somebody else chime in here
It's like the life has been sucked out of it, yeah. Very sterile sounding. All these layers remain layers and not blending into the wonderful live mix it once was. Perfect example is indeed the sax that sounds like the Nile geese that live next door to me and warn people of possible danger in the middle of the night. The vibe is gone, yes. Still, it remains a masterpiece. Can't believe it's already been ten years of us enjoying this gem!!!
this remix and remaster gives it the '''Live sound' the other version was album level audio and that's what i loved about it ... can't please everybody i guess haha
I felt the same at first but the more I listen to it the more I sort of dig the really goofy saxophone introduction. I feel like it almost makes sense it a very deranged way
You're cooked so much more space for everyone in this one. The old one wasn't bad at all though and i didnt think remix was necessary. But this one sounds so much better in my studio
Please swap the old video to unlisted instead of private, I prefer the original mix and not having access to it sucks ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MBAJP-3ebDA.html&
