@@tanukiman3855 It's cos it's his baby. If Leo was still around and running Fender, I'd bet he'd be every bit as excited by his dreams taking form and reaching people. How couldn't you be? Now, if you are just a businessman who got into just any product because it would do well in the market and make you rich, well you are never gonna be excited by your products. You'll only be excited by your profits.
Finally got my PRS Custom 24 after saving for years. Worth every penny. Thanks to Paul and the rest of the PRS crew for all the hard work and dedication you put into the brand and instruments. Glad to be part of the family!
Stephen Docherty look little lady, you need to calm down. I was just asking a question, which you still didn’t answer sensible. Now, go sit in the corner and be thankful you have that keyboard to hide behind
Paul, I doubt that you’re going to read this, i’ll say it anyway. Everyone from this wonderful guitar company who happens to read it. I am the proud owner of a Paul Reed Smith CE 24. It is the finest guitar in my collection of five, and it is made and designed by a company I think is top notch, and by a creator and owner who just seems like one hell of a great guy! I’ve watched enough videos to get a feel for what this man, Paul is like. Thank you, sir. The world is a little bit better place because of your vision and product.
Very well said Kevin, 100% agree with you about Paul. That is who I want designing and building my guitar, a man who is still fascinated and smitten with the guitar as an instrument as well as instruments as works of art.
I don't own a PRS, but my opinion about the guy is the same. Look like an everyday person you could talk to. Thank you Paul for making us dreaming of beautiful products.
2x singlecut satins, 1x CE24, 1 modern eagle II, one custom 22 rosewood, 1x custom 24 Floyd...and numerous other brands (Suhr, Musicman, yamaha, Hamer USA etc etc). PRS remains the top go-to in my collection- playing the CE24 mahogany more than any other. Lovely, lovely guitars.
I actually really like the Pauls guitar myself love the arched top and the recessed volume and tone nobs and the switches as opposed to push pull pots ... very very nice indeed and I'm 100% a fender guy but id buy that thing in a NY minute ! although id have to get a PRS amp as well to keep it authentic ... wouldn't want Mark Agnesi finding out I wasn't playing Authentic now would I
You got that yellow/red 24 patent guitar back!?!?! That's fantastic, I remember the day it disappeared, you just sat down head in hands and a hundred wheels turning in your head. I'm so happy for your company all these years. 👍🏻Way to go PRS 👍🏻
This is a message to anyone wondering how good these guitars are. I own 3 Paul Reed Smith guitars and I thought to myself " I need a fender ultra stratocaster " I walked into Guitar center so I could play some of the new fenders and I was in luck , a truck of new stock just come in. I played 3 ultras , 2 professionals and a Mexican made jimi page tele. Every single ultra , and professional guitar was so bad out of the box , it couldn't be played. The action was so high I could put my pinky finger under the strings at the 12 fret!! All the fret ends where sharp and jagged. Like I said I ordered and now own 3 paul reed smith guitars and all 3 were incredibly perfect right out of the box. I didn't have to do a thing to them. So now I have realized, my $2299 is going on a PRS silver sky !! Because I know with their quality control my guitar will be perfect! You guys can hate all you want , but this is just the facts! Not a single PRS guitar is sent out without being inspected by professional's! And that's what we all should get shouldn't we?
This is the best display at a NAMM show I have ever seen, no expense spared. Nice to see you are still as enthusiastic as you were thirty years ago. Congratulations on having such wonderful products and your success.
Thank you Paul and everyone at PRS. Was in the booth today and I was so happy with what I saw and played. I’m very excited by what you guys are doing. Keep up the good work.
My wonderful wife presented me with my custom 24 in whale blue in 1988, and when I got a bass gig a year later, she gave me a PRS 5 string in vintage burst. When she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, I sold the custom to help with medical bills. While I loveď that guitar, I love her even more. She was more upset about selling it than I was and I told her I can always get another guitar. Today she is 5 years cancer free!
Paul is like Steve Jobs for guitars. You can clearly see his excitement even though he knows every little detail and has seen each and every product a thousand times.
Got my first PRS a couple of months ago after years of drooling over them and it does not disappoint. My CE24 is versatile, comfortable and treat to look at.
Love watching Paul's enthusiasm as he tours us around a booth bigger than most stores, and homes in my town! He just personifies every kid who gets they're first guitar, that wide eyed glory of holding the most beautiful guitar ever!! ..., and I like Dragons too!!
@Stephen Docherty Sometimes that can't be helped. As a guitarists I too will sometimes mod my guitars just to keep in interesting. Never know what kind of component/tone recipe you might stumble upon.
I've been to the NAMM PRS booth many times. No other builder creates the excitement among players like they do. I'm proud to play and privileged to play PRS.
Hey Paul your enthusiasm is contagious and why not, such sensational products made by PRS. Thanks for the video especially for those of us on the other side of the world that can't make it to NAMM
8:03 though.... I have never been in such awe over a guitar before, hands down the most beautiful instrument I have ever seen. Besides the amazing looking guitars, Paul's enthusiasm makes this video worth watching!
Omg this is heaven all PRS gear wow!! And thank you paul for the preview , now i can say i'm in love with a dragon😍🐉 that guitar is the ultimate dream!! Good luck for all the Prs team members at namm!
Love Paul’s enthusiasm. I love PRS guitars, great machines. Now I think I want the Silver Sky with maple board and the new 594 (after viewing the Tim Pierce’s comparison)
Thank you Paul! Great tour. Beautiful products. I am still in love with my Paul's Guitar. Now I need the McCarty HB. I'm committed to coming to Stevensville this year!!!
Paul, you are definitely the company owner that we enjoy buying from. Your products are outstanding. I recently bought a 24 std. and as a lower end guitar for PRS it is equal to a high end from another maker. CONGRADULATIONS on 35 here is wishing GOR another 35
What I like about Paul is he isn't just some boring executive in a suit, he's someone who genuinely enjoys music, and someone who genuinely enjoys guitars. His passions shines through in every single interview I ever see him in, and his products reflect that. I own 4 PRS's, 2 Custom 22's, an S2 22, and a Tremonti SE. You can feel the quality, from their most affordable options to their top of the line gear. My dad who is a diehard Les Paul man, owns several, is now starting to collect Paul Reed Smith after years of watching me enjoy mine! He'll tell you he thinks my Customs play better than any Gibson he owns.
I want to say something about Paul right now......it is so exciting to see a man who has dedicated his life to make the best guitars he can make. I wonder if he ever sleeps. He was almost hopping he was so stoked about the new stuff. Whenever you pick up any PRS guitar you feel a whole company that cares about what they do right down to the lowest level job. A man with a vision and the means to bring it to life. I am seriously going to buy one of his guitars and those Sonzera amps rock. May end up with one of those, too. I hope they sell everything they have to dealers and players who truly appreciate them. God bless you Paul and all of your employees.....keep doing what you do. The world is a better place with you in it sir!
Thank you for making the affordable SE guitars. I recently bought one and am happy to play on a such a beautiful and well crafted instrument. It has the tone that makes all my other guitars obsolete.
I recently bought a PRS Tremonti SE custom, and it’s one of the best guitars I’ve ever played.Ive been a PRS fan ever since. I can only imagine how great the core line is.
Absolutely amazing!! I’ve already got five of your guitars in my pack (To include a 12 string...which I understand is rather rare), an I can’t wait to add another to my collection! Keep up the great work!!
Hi Paul. Love the enthusiasm you show. I'm going to tell you I love my SE 245 I got last year in February. I'm not a pro musician I'm a dad of two grown children who works hard for his money. That guitar was affordable, well made and makes me want to spend my down time plucking away on it. Thanks a lot.
I had to wait 25 years to get my first PRS. I love my CE 24, it is great, it sounds great, it is so easy to play, it sings! And it is an absolute workhorse that can do everything.
Iam a proud owner of 3 PRS guitars..even though I'm just starting out the quality and playability is top notch.. and my Archon amp is pretty damn good too..I really can't say that about the other guitars I've played. So thanks Paul and company and everyone involved in the making of these wonderful guitars..You guys have a fan and a customer for life keep up the great work.!!
I have been a PRS fan since 1999 (my first core model with an order form from the dealer).... Maybe sooner since watching Carlos at a young age. So glad to see dedication to quality is paying off.
Amazing work Paul!! One of the best guitars you can buy today hands down!! QC should be your nick name!! Alot of good companies lacking in that dept. these days! Rock on!! NAMM 2020!!
In my humblest of opinions, best guitars money can buy. I love my A50e acoustic, and am saving for a 35th anniversary Custom 24. I'm hoping lots of these make it to Rainbow Guitars in Tucson!
My 2016 Vintage Sunburst Zach Myers that I bought in the autumn of 2018 has quickly become my number one. I'm one of those that loves to tinker and have since made my own. It essentially looks like a 1 piece bridge McCarty SC with mixed hardware.
Really nice! Wish one day I will come and see all those guitars at a NAMM show with my own eyes...till then, I will be enjoying my PRS Guitars. Kind regards from Romania!
I got a custom 24 10 top with the piezo last January (1 year ago). I've had lot's of guitars in my life, but this one is the best. I play it every day. I'm retiring in a year or so and my celebratory retirement gift is not going to be a Corvette or another Harley. It's gonna be a Private Stock.
Thanks Paul!!! Congratulation for your amazing products and the passion, pleasure, enthusiasm and pride you put into them!!! Maybe one day I will be able to afford one of your fantastic guitars.....!!! Keep up the awesome job!!! 👏👍🔝😊 P.S. oh.....I almost forgot: the Dragon is the best guitar I've ever seen......Gorgeous!!!❤
how could anyone give this video a negative rating ... this is like watching a super enthusiastic Stradivarius showing his musical instruments at the NAMM in Rome during his life time . this video itself will be classic . and oh , I LOVE DRAGONS , THEY ARE MY FAVORITE ANIMALS .
PRS has the best quality control of any major brand, in my opinion. I picked up an SE the other day and honestly thought it was as good as most $3000 guitars.
