46:18 -- I still LOVE my Nike Epic React Flyknit 2 "Pixel" shoes. I've had them for like 2 or so years now I think and wear them often and they still work great!
Talaria Flyknit High in black might be my favorite Nike shoe ever. I wear it constantly. Extremely comfortable, durable, and easy to slide it to without undoing laces. The ankle hasnt stretched at all. It’s got Defender water repellent tech. I wish they made a full on waterproof Goretex version. Hate every other colorway they made though.
This is in the top three best episodes of all time. I love when these three talk about shoes it’s better than any interview or any other episode. I just love hearing them talk about their old stories.

I can’t quite get into Sneaker Shopping when the guest isn’t a sneaker person it feels a little awkward. But these guys are definitely what gets me checking complex.

I think my favorite part of this podcast is the new vocabulary I learn each week haha. There’s always at least one word (probably Brendan who says it) that I don’t know and have to Google every time.
Sneakers that need a retro are the Nike Flightposite 3s, the Reebok Shroud, the Nike Zoom Payton 2 and 3s, Nike Air Max Duncan 1, the Nike Turbines, the Nike Foamposite Max (Silver) the Nike Air Bakin, the Air Jordan 10 Steal, and the Nike Air Morph.
The 13 was the jordan I missed as a late 80s baby and 90s kid. The 12s I had every colorway plus 2 pair of the flu games because my air unit popped in game like a week after buying. Ohhh the bad glue marks I remember. I grew up n da 90s with all the flights and reebok classics. Had my 1st pair of af1 mids back then. Became a shoe enthusiasts around the time ai came out with his team answers in a blue like the flint 13s. The 9s were my 1st multiple jordans in a year for school and court.
Sneaker talk is very very good!! Don’t skip it for name dropping or culture insiding! You blend the worlds of being connected, getting hooked up yet portray as everyday people thru your roots, your expressions of joy for being lucky in a hookup, plus retelling stories of grinding, or wishing, and upscale guests. It’s a well balanced blend. Don’t let it slide to overconnected, high expectations, and general douchebaggery! My size is 10.5 and btw I’ve searched for the eBay and question thing multiple times but never find so what’s the deAly boys??!

I got 2 amazing sneakers that are both made of Flyknit. The Nike Off-White Hyperdunk & Nike Kobe 9 Low Moonwalker. They both so beautiful. Happy to have them in the Collection.
oreo 2.0 flyknit with the tech fleece was my uniform, love that welty copped with his first complex check. Been watching for a while but the flyknit talk is what made me engage. i love the recognition of the mercurials and magista lifestyle sneakers even though the execution of those models arent the best. Which of the jlp welty and drunne have the yeknits?
I'm exactly the same as Welty, wanting to get new pairs but can't justify adding them at the moment so I'm selling a lot of used pairs via Klekt to make space and finance them. Having pairs as part of the collection is nice but when I only wear them once or twice a year and could better use the money then I'm letting them go.
@Hoodie sorry just seen this! Yeah for me it’s more straightforward. I’m in the UK so literally I just list the pair with a few photos (if used) and when they sell the courier will either collect from me or I just drop it off at a newsagents near me
I had the Magista cleats and wanted the shoes to match but my parents instead got me the Mercurial Superfly Frees in blue and white. They were awesome at the time with some cuffed blue school pants, it was a fit.
What sneaker would you guys say made you a sneaker enthusiast? For me it was the jordan 1 in 1985. I was in 3rd grade and my friend in school had a pair and I was hooked in from there.
Definitely enjoy the episode just you guys chopping it up but really enjoy when you have a guest too. Maybe Mubi a full size run alumni worked at sns and now is a reebok. Would be a great interview
My retro request is the Nike Air Zoom Miler in White/Black/Red(Orange). 2004:ish. I had them at the time. Kanye wore them in the New Workout Plan music video. I’ll take that color, the Lance Armstrong Yellow ones were good, and some new modern colorways with better materials. Suede/mesh version. That’s my grail, they pop up on Ebay is near mint condition sometimes but never in my size.
It’s crazy to see all the hate on the fly knit Mercurials and stuff hahahah. Like I agree bold design but that shoe really helped me in my excitement towards sneakers and breaking barriers with design. And the ones that bend when you aren’t wearing them. Those went hard!!!
I’ve always worn skate shoes so I would like to see many of them retro, but it’s always weird with the legality and attaching pros names to it. Happy I got the koston éS release and can’t wait for more
Bring back the Agassi from the 90´s, the og pink and black halfcabs. Played basketball in them cos I couldnt get the J´s and got made fun of. But they worked fine and were hella comfortable.
Im a adidas Guy but if they will re release Flyknit racer Again. I would love to buy that sneaker. Idk why they discontinued it. Man that Sneaker looks so good and Light on feet.
Also whats the deal with the 96 retro they recreated the 96ii and clearly they have the mould for the og scream greens now thanks to supreme so where are they
