Forcemaster2000 It's less cheating and more playing a role kind of like a dungeon master. SE barely presents a threat in survival so having a 3rd party in creative act as a threat is a great way to compensate

Like you said I'm just a form of dungeon master causing mishaps and attacks as space engineers need something like this as there really isn't a goal out there.

Or have that just be a *distraction* (like having the aim be just *slightly* off so that the hits don't actually hit anything *too* critical, but still close enough to 'rattle' them....and then when they head out to try and disable that artillery, the base is suddenly attacked from below by an army of 'mining drones' that just dig through the walls and floor and go about 'mining' the entire hangar and every ship stored there), and have drones digging their way through the ground to reach and attack the base from below while the artillery is being more overt and attacking them from the surface (or orbit). Like they get back from disabling the artillery and showing relief, only to suddenly find mining drones are laying waste to the interior of the hangar and having to deal with *those* before they lose the entire hangar and it's contents.

Nah, if he did that, there would be a chance that they could recapture the ship. He's just going to hide it away in a hangar. maybe they'll find it. maybe they wont.

thats why you booby trap it, place a sensor that would detonate a bomb if they get close so that he could use it to attack them run away and act like the ship is going down. escape and leave the ship behind so when they try to reclaim it. Boom >:D

or set the bomb on a timer that way they would take it back to base and then explode XD

im not saying to use so many bomb that it destroys the whole base in one you go. you have to do it small and slowly to maximize the suffering :P just picture it whoever built that ship is so sad now that they lost it, then they recover it, jump up and down full of joy and hope only to see it explode right in front of them >:D

@@finisterre2415 Mate, I don't know what sort of shitty D&Ds you go, but good DMs do not cheat, because they're not biased. Besides that, what's your point? This guy is Just a bad intruder who sucks at doing intrusions without cheating. A D&D DM would atleast have a good reason to place some npcs.

I know it's a year on and the Colony Wars series has since happened but... What's wrong with that? The initial series that this server was for was tentatively pushing SE multiplayer at the time. And given how even still SE lacks a true aim to reach for in survival it makes sense that he'd turn towards fellow content creators to provide an antagonistic force for some entertainment value, not just for the viewers, but the patreon supporters that made up most of Jack's team at the time.

Not just launching them, but *building* them at the same time. So that they not only need to take out the ship, but also disable it's ability to produce more drones. So that even if they take down the carrier, if they then leave it be, the carrier may still be producing more drones that will still be taking off to attack them.

If you pay attention, there are ships taking off in the hangar every so often while Aaron is working out how to swipe one of the ships. Even if they saw Aaron taking the ship, they probably just thought it was one of *them* piloting it rather than Aaron. But one thing I could see them doing to add security and make something like this *much* harder to pull off in the future, would be to seal off individual parts of the hangar with 'blast doors' that can only be opened from outside the hangar (so that if someone wanted to take a ship out, they'd either have to open the door first themselves [which would invariably draw attention to the fact that the door was opening] or have someone on the other side open the door for them). Doing it that way would mean that once the door was opened, Aaron would have to get back to the ship *fast* and get it out of there before someone noticed and simply closed the door(s) again bfore he was able to get the ship out.
