I used to be Mopar only, but as I've gotten older I think that any car someone puts their time into is cool. Loved the camera under the hood. Keep moving forward!
Totally cool video! LS makes the world go round. You most certainly got my attention, sneaking into a all MOPAR event, with a sweet car, and LS powered. Congrats!
I tell you what I’m wanting to do. Is have a Gen 3 hemi setup in the bed of my ls swapped d150 and use a gm trans but have a bellhousing for both. Take engine hoist, catch pans, all the stuff I need to swap. Goto ls fest, then Sunday evening find a spot in hotel parking lot and swap the hemi in stay all week and take it to moparty the following weekend with the 5.3 in the bed.
Awesome! Love the hidden camera. I often wondered what people said about my car at shows. I would walk away, then come back like I was looking at it also to see what they were saying, lol.
Lol, that was great. I'm not a big Mopar fan, so I enjoyed that. I can appreciate any vehicle tho. I had a 77 Dodge Titan RV with a 440. That thing was a beast. Glad you had a good time. Great video!!
Also another thing let’s all be real in the Muscle Car Era Mopar Was King Power and so many Different Trim Features and models then close second power wise and beauty I give to the Ford fastback mustang cobras built by Shelby. Everything after that was Chevy 😂 do love a Chevelle SS 454 tho
I actually remember seeing this car at MoParty. I was there in my Polara. Made the run down from Ohio. I didn't actually find this channel until after MoParty when I was looking up Dodge Charger videos.
Love your Duster man. I'm planning on building myself a Duster with twin turbos, a Cadillac LH2 Northstar, an A518/46RH trans, a Ford 9" rear and with Mopar Performance leafsprings. It's gonna have to be a "little bit" on the ratty side, because I'm definitely not rich. Keep up the good/hard work.
I'm not to big on engine swaps. But it doesn't bother me. It cracks me up how some of those old guys were physically upset when it registers what's going on. Hilarious.
I don't hate LS engines, I'm well aware that they make good horsepower and are very dependable but you don't see a top fuel dragster with an LS type engine, do you? :-)
@@camracing i can't remember the vendor but someone had the shortblock for $4k around November, i thought about it but i have a perfectly running LS3 and no funds to spend on something that would definitely smoke my 6L80. Nice car though and props for being hands on as there is less and less of us out there
Those guys in the auto mechanic shirts must have been so confused as they are looking at a LS swapped duster and a mustang rolls by at the same time in a mopar car show 😂
About 30 years ago at the dodge dealershdealership where I was working we had a yearly all mopar car show. On this occasion a fellow showed up with a 36 Plymouth (if I remember right). When he got into his spot he opened the hood and had a small block Chevy under there. He was told that his car could stay , but wouldn't be judged for the show prizes. He got so much grief from the onlookers that he left after an hour. He was sporting a really nice car and had a good amount of money invested. Couldn't understand why he just didn't put a small block mopar in it.
Lifelong Ford guy, but I do not blame anyone for swapping out their Ford or Mopar drive line for an LS. Great power and dependability, not to mention the parts availability to improve and make massive amounts of power without breaking the bank. Ford and Mopar both made their own performance parts for decades and charged far more than parts than the parts for Chevy. More bang for your hard earned buck.
Well then keep on crying pal cause u seem to forget the purpose of hot rodding which is installing non-factory parts into any car of choice. Have the day u deserve.
