Dear Dr. Jones, I've been a great fan of yours since our Lilly ( Jack Russell ) came to us and 6 months later we got also Daisy (Jack Russell). It's been now almost 5 years and they're both fantastic and thanks to your tips it's helped us to look more at things from their prospective. We've been watching signs when they're both trying to tell us something and we never ignore their barking. We know they don't just bark at anything however, if there's a magpie or other cats outside they'd bark but this doesn't worry us. We've also noticed that these little ones are ground dogs and they would pick up virtually anything that's been dropped on the kitchen floor so we're very careful what we drop or we'd put them out of the kitchen and then clean up after we've done whatever we had to do. As I'm right into health foods and especially home grown, I don't mind them hanging around when I drop a few Kale leaves as I chop them up on the counter. Anything that's good for them I don't mind giving them a little of something. Here in Australia we have some wonderful chews called Greenies. They're shaped as little tooth brushes which they love to chew and they clean their back teeth. We also have another thing that's a solution to add to their water called Healthy Mouth. This Healthy Mouth helps to kill any unwanted bacteria in their mouth and keeps their breathe fresh and clean. We've also noticed that giving them a shank bone every now and then also helps to keep their mouth and teeth clean. I call them natures tooth brush.

Hey doc for smaller breeds when they are consistently sneezing is the licorice tincture a good alternative to benadryl to get an immediate effect. Thanks in advance

Hahahaha....I was going to call you on this if you did NOT mention nettles, LOL. I actually add some organic dried nettles to my dog's homemade food (and turmeric) because he's like me, allergy prone. You rock!!!

Doc, my 4 year old poodle keeps changing her position when sleeping because of sneezing and nose congestion. She can't sleep peacefully that's why I thinkshe had a red eye. I noticed that her upper nose is dry. She only eats small amount of food. I am worried because it is almost a 5 days. The vet told me yesterday that her platelets count is low. She takes polynerve and lc-vit. Doxycycline is out of stock in drugstores. Is there any alternative or natural remedy for my dog's case?

Vet online If only vets were caring like you we need more vets like you , Do you have a video on cat hot spots?my cat has been hiding under my kitchen sink ,wich isn't his normal behavior I It finally comes out late in evening seen big hot spot on back no hair. And also I seen hot spots around neck for Most likely due to allergic reaction from fleas and it's been scratching alot What remedy would you recommend for hot spot. I dont know what i would do without you!!!! My Akitamute hunts mice, so maybe its causing sneezing? Or housemites? But shes been sneezing ever since new dog came a week ago, so im thinking it could be a cold? Her temperature is averaging 97-100 for past three weeks, so i dont think its an infection.

My cat started sneezing shortly after I had lightly sprayed Fabreze carpet spray over a carpet area. The sneezing was fairly frequent for the rest of the afternoon. Haven't used the spray again and no more sneezing.

I appreciate your suggestions. My baby had a bad sneeze and vomiting she is only 9 to 10 months. I didn't wanna give her human medication so I tried the tea and within two days no sneezes or vomiting. I appreciate your video so much as I just was in a flood and couldn't afford a vet bill. The tea worked wonders.

Yes, it could be due to cinnamon. Sneezing will usually stop ones the irritant has been removed but if it persist it could be due to something else.

My dog is about 8 or 9 yrs old we adopted her over 4 yrs ago. She had been sneezing I started her on natural herbs my person recommended. It seemed to help her however today she started again. Seems to start out of nowhere. No nasal discharge I looked in her nose but really hard since she is a long hair chi. What can you recommend for her. She doesn't sneeze alot but when she does it's over 10 sneezes. She's a happy dog eats well never had issues with her health. Thank you

Hi um, my dog just was laying in bed then he started shaking and when he tried to walk he lost control of his back legs. We tried to take him to the vet but all the but all the vets were closed in the area and didn't have a Doctor till 8:00 AM. I didn't think that my dog would live but he woke up with his legs kinda working and he stopped shaking. Can you help me? If you could it would nice.

My goodness...sounds like some kind of neurological issue...did he possibly eat a poisonous mushroom or something? We keep activated charcoal caps around for poisoning emergencies and tummy troubles with furies and humans, alike.

If she’s eating grass she most likely has a poor diet, not your fault most dog foods can be really tricky I would recommend feeding her a raw diet or a good quality dog food if you don’t already . Or she could have an intolerance to what you’re feeding her believe it or not dogs can very often be intolerant to chicken so if you’re feeding her chicken i would say try cutting that out for a bit and if none of those work i would do to a vet. If it’s the food some of the best brands are call of the wild and k9 natural you should have a look at your local pet store :)

No, the sneezing went away. It was allergies he sniffed something. I gave him a mixture of cool nettle tea mix with water and teaspoon local honey for 3 days and it went away

Nettle tea for them???? You bet! I have force my dog with sedatives to drink that! Curcumin with black pepper will come out the other end just like that. Medical marijuana or CBD oil is banned in most places.
