Me too, I played a lot of Donkey Kong Country with my dad..still to this day he's obsessed with the music in it called aquatic ambience.beautiful tune..Turtles in Time was one of my all time favs.
@@cd4playa1245 They make almost no games anymore, they decided to focus on pachinko machines and other things such as cards instead of focusing on what made them great before. Their games aren't good now and they add microtransactions everywhere on them. I mean look at Metal Gear Survive, i think it's the best example of modern Konami so far.
The SNES port of Turtles In Time was both the best version of the game and a high point in TMNT games. The ability to change the settings, the difficulty levels, the attacks the turtles could do, the length and variety of the stages, the enemies and bosses, even some of the music was pretty good. The arcade versions always had slightly better audio, but otherwise this console version was great for the time it was released. The really tried to top the first Turtles arcade game here, and overall, they succeeded.

Hello Everyone me Alexandre DJ and music producer, and I was addicted to the game and I loved this sensational game and I played it always and for many hours every day hahahaha, and sometimes I played with michangelo and raphael, but the preference was leonardo or donatello always on snes, and I love the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and I'm a big fan too, I love the 1987 cartoon, and the fantastic music from 1987 too, and I have the 3 movies from the 90s, the Teenage Mutant movies Ninja Turtles II The Secret of the Ooze ,Teenage Mutant Ninja Turt les III - TMNT , and the Ninja Turtles are incredible and too much hahahaha , and I would be afraid of michangelo, that if I eat pizza next to him, he would eat it all and not leave a piece hahahaha, and I am 39 years old and it reminds me of my childhood, and I miss my childhood I was born in 1983 and the good times never come back, and I expect contact from konami and nintendo please, and I wish you success always from nintendo and konami, and my greetings and respect, to everyone who is a fan of ninja turtles in Brazil and in the world, Holy turtle hahahaha , and I end by saying that wonderful phrase '' COWABUNGA ' hahahaha, peace and regards from brazil sao paulo sp city.
To be honest, I still love this one thousand times more than reshelled. This one is just a classic, with the classic look of the Turtles, fighting style, the sound affects when you hit the players etc. The new one just lacks that same feel. Lol, as far as this game, for the most part, I did more of throwing the foot toward the screen than anything else. That never got old for me. What shows this is such a classic, just watching this makes me want to hook up my snes and play this.
+adi shalev The voice acting from reshelled was also from the newer 2003 version of the turtles seeing as when they said "My toes" they used those turtles voices rather than what was used here as well.
No entendia porque le dicen la gran manzana a Nueva York, alguien me dijo que era porque todo mundo puede llegar ahi y dale su respectiva "mordida" (igual que a una manzana) refiriendose al poderio economico I didn't understand why they call New York "the big apple", someone told me that is because everybody can arrive to New York and "bite it" (like you do with an apple) , that refers to its economic power
I want and wish very much go back in time too or rewinding times to lovely 90s and 2000s where happiness, joy, laughter, fun, where no sorrows, pains, الهموم and tragedies. I am now very sad, suffer and cry a lot because of what happened in 7/18/😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔💔. I need someone help me and to heal wounds of my heart. go to Ronald Mallet he's a scientist of time travel. Perhaps he is our only hope.
That's exactly true. Especially I may include conflicts and war like I rather escape reality because I am currently recovering from my mental and emotional health and stress down here. :(
@Guerilla PSYOPS omg my asshole dad did the same for the same price as well and I had so many games! And he actually sold my SNES games to one of my friends (whom i rarely see tho) just because he said to my dad he wanted to buy them so badly
@@crowjre00 yeah I know about emulators but they do not really have the same feeling of buying and playing on a SNES physically...but you are right about the fact that we could just buy the SNES games on ebay or amazon now tho 🐢 🍕
Mygod the nostalgia cuts DEEP with this one!! Man this takes me back to playing this at my cousins house when I was like 5 and having my mind blown by how awesome this was..Man the music is epic on this, got pumped up hearing it again after all these years..actually had fun watching this, great job👍
THIS is what a fighting game should be. No long unnecessary plot, no unlockable levels or missions, just pure relentless beat-the-shit-out-of-everyone explosive action
One of the times where the home console version was actually superior to the arcade version. The home version had a bunch of levels not in the arcade. Also they cut the lame ass "Cement Man" boss.
"My toes! My toes! My toes!" Lol me and my brother had so much fun playing this at home and at arcades. Of course at home it was on normal difficulty with infinite lives I believe lol. Like bud 👍
I seriously can't believe this game and it's 90's collection family of games are getting re-released! I have been dying for this game to be re-released as far back as Wii's Virtual Console and I was in that pit of thinking it was never going to happen. Thank you Digital Eclipse!! Also these games and Shredder's Revenge, what a year for TMNT gaming!!!
You can thank Nickelodeon and Konami (for the first time in ages I can say that) for that collection. I have no confidence in Digital Eclipse. On the other hand M2 doing that collection, guaranteed success.
Oh my, such nostalgia. I remember the game being too hard as a kid. When we ran out of continues we said, hey let's go ride bikes. Thank you so much, I've finally seen the ending to a childhood game that wasn't beaten
Saludos.
Definitely my favorite of the TMNT video games. So many of these villains we saw, Slash, Metalhead and especially Leatherhead (My favorite) would be so awesome to see in movies today. I remember there was a rumor that if you beat the game on hard without using a continue, you'd see Shredder falling. But nope. You just see Splinter at the crowd and some dumb kid leaping in joy.
But it was a cutscene in the sega port, called the "hyperstone heist", although with different plot, levels, and almost all new bosses (besides 3 final). So the rumour was truly enough, only for another platform.
This brings back memories and makes me so happy to watch. Such a fun and memorable game... everything about it was just ridiculous and over the top. =)
My sister and I loved playing this game, be it at the laundromat when it was there, or renting it to play on the SNES at home. Our favorite stage was the train because it had such a badass soundtrack!
How to make a great Turtles game: *play the goddamn theme song somewhere (this is a MUST!) *make sure that the rest of the music is as catchy as possible, with real melodies etc *include the characters from the television show *have the Turtles yell "Pizza Time!" and "Pizza Power!" when they pick up pizzas These are the fundamentals, and "Turtles In Time" nailed all of them. If these thing are fulfilled then it's much easier to make the rest of the game turn into a classic.
Surfing through sewers, tossing enemies towards the screen, running dinosaurs, a rampaging crocodile boss and Rock Steady and Bebop as pirates. What's NOT to love?
Wow...this really takes me back. I can’t tell you how many times I beat this game with my brother We had a great time playing this game when I was a kid
@@ricky-sanchez wtf lol??? So you will blaming Republicans for space colonization failures 😂🤦♂️?? How sad your life must be to let ideology some how effect a ninja turtles game comment section. Get a life
My dad and I used to be able to complete the hard setting in something like 29 minutes. In the UK this franchise used to be called 'Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles', as the word 'ninja' was considered too violent 😂
I remember playing this as a 5 year old in 2008 with my brother and dad, they usually did all the playing while I was being stupid somewhere is the corner. But the game was stupidly fun for how old it is i wish someone sold an SNES with this game
I remember the day we were at Ames and I begged for this. Thought I wasn't going to get it... But we did. Came home and beat it with my brother in about 32 minutes lol. Felt a lot longer.
The music every time the boss comes out so bad ass and every-time you hit the boss (that go go sound) child hood memories…. Can’t forget Shredders ha ha ha
We really need a Turtles Collection for modern systems. A collection with the following: Turtles NES, Turtles Arcade NES, Turtles 3 manhattan proj., Turtles back from the sewers GB, Turtles Hyperstone Heist Genesis. Turtles in Time (Arcade, SNES, HD), and Turtles tournament fighters SNES. That would be soo sweet.
@@steveafanador6441 I just bought a mod mega drive, and the guy who sold me it said he'd put turtles in time on the snes mini for me. I didn't even know you could do this kind of stuff. I might ask him to do NBA jam while he's at it.
one of the few console ports that is arguably improved over the arcade version (additional bosses and stages) the only drawback is 2 player only vs 4 player on arcade
