This topic is too much fun to wind up in one episode. Please continue the airport stories with Varun and Kautuk in the next episode! Enjoyed this one a lot!
Since I feel strongly about this topic and since I have nothing better to do right now - Airline awards (based on MY experience alone, don't hate) INTERNATIONAL Best overall airline - Qatar airways Worst overall airline - Very close contest between Air India, United Airlines and British Airways. Best in terms of customer service/experience - Qatar airways Worst customer service/experience - Jet Airways, United Airlines, Air Canada Best cabin crew (in terms of professionalism and attitude, not looks. It is not a beauty pageant) - Emirates, Air Madagascar (!) Worst cabin crew - Air India, Air France DOMESTIC Best overall - Indigo Worst overall - Jet Airways AIRPORTS I look for (a) efficiency and the time it takes for me to get from entrance to plane and vice versa (b)Reasonable dining options that can cater to all tastes and not just have a gross McDonalds (c) sufficient number of recliners/seating options for the weary, jetlagged travellers. Best overall - Boston, Hyderabad IN Worst - Halifax CA, Heathrow SPECIAL MENTIONS Guaranteed to lose your bags - Etihad Guaranteed to not give a shit - Air India Guaranteed to be inefficient and insensitive - United Guaranteed to be delayed - Easyjet Guaranteed to suck in some or the other way, every time you fly with them - Jet Airways LAST WORD Fuck you Jet Airways! P.S. I haven't included Ryanair as itna paisa mei itna hi milega!
Its very calm and composed without Varun. Loved it. Neville's storytelling is quite cool. He is watching the plane, on his toes, with his dick in his hands through the rusted window. That was the punchline and Aadar fucked it up.
To answer Neville's question about Aerobridges, things like landing, parking, baggage, security AND the use of Aerobridges cost airlines money. Aerobridges happen to be quite expensive compared to bus, so most of the low cost carriers and even cheap flights on the larger carriers choose to use buses instead to keep their costs down.
The airlines are supposed to pay the airport to use the aero-bridge . They don't hence they have to park the flight away from the aero-bridge and use buses :/
Another brilliant video, guys! I've yet to see a video of The Big Question which didn't make me crack up laughing. Aadar, Neville, Karan, great job, you guys are the best!
Atlanta's Hartsfied Jackson isnt the biggest. Its the busiest. Also you dont have to walk the whole length, you have an airtrain that takes you from one end to the other.
Ahh.. you guys are so amazing..I was watching your podcast in my class and my french friends they started asking me about it and i showed it to them and now they learn all Indian slang.. lol.. I think they have seen more podcasts then me and they keep talking about it to me.. my Dutch friend have a crush on Aadar.. I wish you guys come for a show in Paris.. You guys are hilarious.
neville's frankfurt airport story is why i suggest nobody should travel in an indian airline to a foreign destination. you will always be treated like shit
813Productions There are many US budget airlines worse than Air India. South West and Singapore Airlines are the best airlines in my opinion. Air India is average. I take Newark -Mumbai flight regularly. They are not very bad. What I hate the most is the overcrowding near the gate for Air India flights.
I have never flown on South West but my friends love it. The budget U.S. airlines don't do international flights to India. If they did all of us would give them a shot to save money lol! Spirit airlines is notorious for shit service and overcrowding but they only fly in the U.S., The Caribbean and the rest of the Americas.
813Productions True. Spirit is the worst airline. Everything about Spirit sucks. I experienced extreme turbulence on a 2 hour flight. I thought I will crash. Me and other passengers were literally praying for a safe landing. Lol. I have never experienced this feeling even on long, inter- continental flights.
Oh and speaking of overcrowding at the gate...Its a bum rush to board and de-board flights every time. I don't think I've ever seen people so eager to get on and off a plane like our fellow Indians lol!
I want to ask u guys aside from podcasts do u guys r working on any other project/videos..?! Coz it would be good to see otherwise its just only podcasts on ur channel, which r great bt some variety would be nice to see!
there is a lot that goes into a flight plan. Its not just a matter of picking nearest airports for diversions. traffic. wind and weather at different altitudes. the climatic conditions of the corresponding airspace. so dhaka was probably just the one that was the safest for keeping lives intact.(and its decided not in the moment but even before you take off) Neville. cut them (actually the pilots) some slack na... btw great podcasts. im hooked.
