Trump can happen in India? Dude leaders like Mulayam Singh are happening in India. Their vague and inappropriate statements about rapes are much more disgusting than what Trump says. Nice podcast though.

I am watching this late... but you know I have talked to people who voted for Trump. Their point of view was very different. They voted for him because of his great finance policies. They didnt care about the rest because it was not their problem :)

Not only American politics affects us, our politics (and politicians) and American politics runs parallel in a lot of ways. Specially with this election, you can draw parallels that are crazy close with the attitude of the people and the issues being raised too. Bas waha pe democrats or republicans (party workers) ne roads pe ladna nahi start kia hai.

@Talvar : u make most sense out of your lot but reason we are all interested in American politics is because of disciplines like Oliver, Colbert or Seth Meyers that Stewart has left behind. Match at least 20% of the shows that they make and am sure we will be interested in Indian politics with the same enthusiasm..And no, not all Indians are behind green card..(Few want schengen visa as well ;)
