Im Scottish mate, See the Canadians i know on my jobs over there they all get me to bring them snickers Solid Gear boots they kove the BOA Tigris boots & GTX enforcer boots as well as the Snickers and Sealand merino socks. They want Harkila pro hunter endure jackets over there by the the cargo plane full mate i could see them frothing at the mouth when tried mine on for size and the odd few ive took over there for them they adore them, the guys i did get them for have had them years now and they ask me to get another as they are frightened that they wont ever be able to get another one over there if i change jobs or dont see them again. They cant believe the outright ruggedness and performance of the gear at the weight throws them off at first, they are used to much heavier clothing for the same protection. Very confusing as they are the ones in -50deg weather but i suspect its because in UK especially about -15deg feels about the same as their -40 deg im not joking. I know it because i leave here at -10 or whatever then jump on the plane to Canada and get off the thing into -35deg and it doesn't feel any colder😂 Dont ask how thats possible im still baffled myself

can i add to my last comment without being too preachy. See two of the guys i know from Canada who do a lot of outdoor hobbies as well as the marine mech day job that i got the Harkila jackets for, they offered me megabucks to ship them over as all their fishing and hunting mates got one look at the Pro Endure jacket and practically demanded they got one. They were offering me the equivalent of £1200 to bring one over after a few of them bought up any of the ones for sale over there for cheap shipping. Is like £550 a jacket here now can buy 50 if i wanted tommorow.

Distribution is still limited in the US, but Any CLC workwear dealer can special order for you. I am still rocking mine almost every day and lovin’ it!

Anywhere in USA that you can find that can get Snickers get the 1229 jacket, the Solid Gear Marino socks and the Solid Gear Tigris or GTX Enforcer or GTX Phoenix BOA boots. The Solid Gear brand are the very top end workboot tech wise and build quality wise they exceed any other workwear boot by a fair old amont but they dont have a huge range of boots or advertise much as they are low manufacturing volumes so UK and Mainland Europe buy them all up. They are always going to be low volume overseas as the materials alone are hard to come by for example Solid Gear being the very top end workboot here they are Snickers but they get proper epoxy resin that snickers bought up when they could at a decent price and sat on the barrels. They use the hand picked BOA parts that came off a fresh batch etc so you are getting exactly what you pay for the Solid Gear Footwear is just spectacular build quality. Hope this helps if you need to bulk up an order with someone who can supply you with Snickers Worwear over there. Their marino socks are made by the same mob who make Seeland Merino socks they are the best of the best ive spent maybe £1000 on merino socks over 3 decades and Solid Gear Merino socks are one of my favourite.

One of this jackets properties is that it's made of breathable fabric designed to maintain a constant temperature of 37.5 degrees centigrade in which the jacket performs very well. Treating it with a waterproof coating might work.... I might try it. Thank you
