same here, despite the name, its rare that ill main the sniper in most missions. usually just stick with the welrod and silent sniper round and lurk every mission.
@@heavyrain5949 doesn't make sense that it was cut, because this video was made after Authentic Plus mode was added, which was after the game was released, but i was thinking the same thing, Satchel charges are infinite :S
The hardest ones are "better than the best", and whichever ones you need to complete via co-op mode. I only have 1 other friend that plays this game but he's busy most of the time and it can get a bit boring waiting for me to find every document/collectible.
V2 is good but controls feel slightly of 3 and 4 have easier controls 4 feels more solid 4 defo my fav and love the survival only thing I can say on v2 you pick up stuff from ded enemy ded kwik why they take ages in 4 2 pick up loot of enemy is annoying lol unless you get a perk for that? I'm only level 20 at mo
*I'd like Game modifiers/cheats in se5. Though enabling them will disable score, but it's just for dicking around. Modifiers like infinite ammo, no reload, no bolt reload, deaf enemies, one shot, etc.*
@@dizyjames4693 use winchester or zh-29 and fnab. any pistol goes. don't try to be stealthy. find good spots where you're covered from 3 sides and entrench yourself there..kill everyone who comes until nobody else comes (that'll be the obvious signal that you've cleaned that part of the map). go out, loot all the corpses, move to the next spot, repeat until you've killed everyone. might wanna run the campaign a few times in hard mode to learn where all the ammo/ medikit loots are located, the objectives, and the enemies (especially the snipers). take down the officers first; once the officer is dead, all the soldiers he sired will scatter, become less organized, and will be easier to kill.

2 years later, I’m currently undertaking the Better Than The Best challenge. On Level 6 right now, and I’m already dreading Allegra Fortress with all that CQC on the horizon.
Jesus Christ, solo Authentic + without manual saves was one of the most satisfying, frustrating and overall sweat inducing things I've done in a long time. Although, I have to admit, while it was sometimes frustrating as all hell, it was still much more enjoyable and definitely much more fair than SE3 on Authentic and especially much more enjoyable than SE2 on Sniper Elite. That one was I nightmare holy hell Quick note tho, shooting the grenade off of enemies in a small hallway like Allagra fortress and getting killed in the process was something that I'll probably never forget in my entire life. That shit happened to me not once, but multiple times All in all tho, if you haven't already, go try it. Landing that 300+ shot without any help whatsoever is probably more exciting than finding an extra chicken nugget in your order
@@arcticwind1368 it's called trial and error and while you're doing it take notes on how the enemy reacts. Seriously my opinion on best method? Find a piece of high ground. Mine any entry points, and go to town with your rifle.
@@arcticwind1368 Actually I started back at SE3 - it had "only" the authentic difficulty, but it was more on par with authentic plus of SE4 (no saving was allowed, period). Ever seen the level "Save Churchill Part 3 - Confrontation"? Made myself a map with a dot of every single enemy (and vehicle), including those coming later after some triggers. Never had to do that for SE4, some levels were easier than others, but mainly - you go full stealth, only shoot when sound masked (difficult to learn as you don't see the indicator) and one shot, one kill. Those few rare occasions when you go full blast, you simply put traps everywhere so the enemies don't reach you. At first, I thought running towards the objectives ignoring most of the enemies was a legitimate strategy, but experience has shown that clearing the whole level makes things much easier. What I was most proud of was shooting that damn airplane's bomb bay at 500 metres at the end of Allagra on my 1st attempt when I finally reached that far. Most hours were wasted on Abrunza Monastery and Allagra - mainly outside.
There should have been achievements for: S class long shots on every map Mastering Each class of weapon Mastering every weapon Completing all Challenges Getting all medals getting all ribbons

I have all except the authentic plus no saves achievement. I thought beating the monastery with only melee weapons was worse than some of these. Took me three days of creeping around and separating and executing them one at a time.
You are correct. 3 of these 5 'difficult' achievements get unlocked eventually just by playing the game. Some of the specific mission challenges are WAY harder, for example doing Magazzeno in under 15 minutes, or the one you mentioned, among many others.

Took a full week of nothing but grinding and zeroing the Mosin with suppressed and regular ammo to complete the campaign on authentic plus with no manual saves. Fuck that. Never again
Can’t do bird in the hand - need to find someone who doesn’t die straight away it quit so I can get the last 6. Did the organ grinder the first time I played on the first level (testicle shot made me cry - both with laughter and imagining what it would feel like to be standing around when suddenly your groin explodes)
I have all those except the authentic plus difficulty im working on authentic right now I just completed The monastery now I have the facility mansion and fortress left and I SATIFIYINGLY got all the hitler achievements I just go back once in a while to get that joy all over again
Wish this game had flamethrowers, or the ability to toss a live enemy over a bluff/building, holding enemy heads under water would have been fun, or bashing a gas lantern over their helmets . . . BUT, sticky grenades take the cake. Lol
PLEASE provide the option for starting levels with no weapons, explosives, first aid, bullets .... nothing but your camo suit and wits and needing to find and collect gear and ammo to do anything more than mellee kill
In 2023 I bought sniper elite 4 back in 2020 it was on sale for collectors edition for $20 I recently started playing it and there are 3-5 non dlc achievements not unlocking when I have completed the tasks . Anybody knows about this issue.
First time player of the franchise and didn't watch any of these videos, tutorials and whatnot but i guess i'm a Demolition Fan lol... Cause i got that one without trying ahah
Ive got a suggestion for an achievement. Complete the single player campaign on authentic plus, without using your sniper. There is also a bug with the game where i have completed the campaign but i haven’t got the skin for doing it.
The better than the best surprisingly wasn’t that tricky it was Lorino Dockyard Which was the real nightmare that took me 3hrs while the others such as Magazzeno facility & Allagra fortress which are real hard ones took me 40 minutes less.
Pls can we get an achievement for a 500m + plus no scope kill cause I landed one of those on the regalinio viaduct on authentic plus I know it was luck but that would be an insane achievement to have
I actually use the pistol as a secondary sniper like when all clips have been used I whip this bad boy out and start spamming at the nearest enemy possible
How about the devs not make trophies tied to online play (in tandem with regular campaign). I don't pay for PS+ and thus I can never get all the stone eagles, sniper reports, and documents since they included compound and rail yard for trophy accomplishment. I have done so for regular campaign even beat it on authentic difficulty. I love this game and put in many hours getting all the various gun mod challenges, just wish trophies could be separate from regular campaign and any online play. Can't wait for SE 5 (hope it will be on PS4 still).
Yeah, even on A+ you can still take a good 3-5 shots depending on the which gun the ai is using and how far you are. Honestly, A+ really isn't that hard imo. I jumped straight to A+ mode for my fist playthrough of SE4. Even got the better than the best for my second run of A+.
I got Pistol pro and organ grinder just doing the weapon upgrades. The others (except better than the best) also seem pretty natural pops... Maybe the egal one is hard?
100 pistol kills, and all organ shots aren't difficult, if you've finished the game, you've probably unlocked them, and 25 vehicle kills you get just by being thorough Authentic plus tho... :D that's something to work on :)
