FYI. if you change Object detail to "low" the quality is still nearly same as "very high" but the performance gets drastically improved. you can also lower other settings down to medium but the graphical quality is still nearly same. if you have a problem of the performance, try that way.
I played through this game saying to myself, "isn't this game using the cryengine 3, if so, why the hell is it so ugly"? seriously. The gameplay isn't really there aside from the rather exceptional sniping mechanics but seriously, there were moments when I thought I was playing a very early xbox 360 game. Playing on pc on very high settings by the way.
I had a 7870, i recommend you get the 660, or 660 ti. I had much more positive experience with nvidia cards then ATI and i'm not a fanboy, i had a 7950 after that but it died so i actually lost faith in ATI and went buying a 680 but downgraded to 670 to save more money and still have the same performance.
If you are planning on getting this game do yourself a favor and play it on the hardest difficulty. Not having that red circle that account for wind/bullet drop will make this game more enjoyable. Calculating wind direction/bullet drop isn't even that hard and it just way more satisfying whenever you land a head-shot. What's the point of playing a sniper game otherwise. I see this same mechanic in SniperVelite, what the hell is wrong with games these day its like watching a interactive movie.
i like the gameplay style how you camo in the water and assassinate ppl, but the environment graphic just disappointed me really bad, Trees, Leaves and some of other particle look soooo outdated
Because, like most games these days, it was developed for consoles and ported to PC. Fucking lazy developers don't give a shit about PC gamers, the market isn't big enough for them to spend their time developing a better quality PC version. At least when games from PS4 and XBone are ported across they'll actually look a bit better.
this looks as shitty as the first one!! even on high graphic specs. if you want a badass sniper game with amazing graphics,faster gameplay and realistic killcams choose SNIPER ELITE V2!! awesome game hands down!
Maybe if you weren't too busy stealing from orphans you would have enough time to learn to play properly. See.. i can make up stuff about a stranger too. I'm sorry you don't have enough time to learn a simple wind/bullet drop mechanic that is maybe 1/10 the complexity of what real life sniper has to go through. Who can spare 10 minutes these day, heh?
