lilchewy0011's reactions were excellent Chew: "Hey its incursus, I'm a fan : D" Inc: Builds an intimidating wall of snipers Chew: "Ummm D :" Inc: Begins sniper bullet hell Chew: "UMMM DDD :" Chew's core explodes then in the next match "oh god not this again" "no not there" "NANI" then finally "you're really the best at what you do" Thank you for your sacrifice Lilchewy0011.
I love how lilchewy was playing. He continuously redid the matches and was trying to adapt and improve in order to beat Incursus. He may have lost all the rounds, but he definitely was learning and imagining possible counters that fit his apm. He quite possible would now be immune to that strategy. Keep it up Lilchewy!
lilchewy0011 Thanks for being such a good sport. Always nice to see someone actually finish a match with Incursus. Fun video thank you Incursus and his opponents.
I'm just waiting for the video where the opponent starts the game by saying, "Oh god, I'm in a 1v1 against Incursus. You're going to meme me to death for a video, aren't you?"
Yea... this strat requires prior knowledge in order to counter. Anything like that is basically broken, but rematches can potentially screw it over. So first match always goes to this tactic, but should lose the second time if your opponent is experienced.
@@someone-ji2zb While I completely agree that a rematch should provide an advantage to the opponent, we can clearly see in the video that it doesn't always work (ie: opponent tried counter-sniper spam). All that being said, what is the best way to counter that? Is there or is it just that much cheese when done right?
This attack inflicts confusion almost 99% of the time. It is also super effective to all normal type players. Idk why but for some reason i think it has a higher crit rate.
This actually reminded me of my Great Grandpa Cook, who served on the U.S.S. Helena back in WW2. It was a light cruiser that survived Pearl Harbor with only a single torpedo to the hull, which maimed one man. Afterwards, during the war in the Pacific, the Helena became known as the "Fightingest ship", and was special due to its unique fighting style. You see, while most ships at the time fired all their cannons at once, the U.S.S. Helena fired them one at a time, going from one end to the other, this allowed each cannon to reload while the next cannon covered for them. This constant cycle made it a formidable foe in the Pacific, with most of the Japanese ships struggling to counter the continuous fire.
To be honest I'd probably scream if I were playing Forts and suddenly the opponent has a bunch of visible snipers And if he starts lining them all up I'd be S H O O K
_2 years later_ Chewy and Incursus meet again. Chewy: I've been training every day since we met. Let's see who wins _this_ time. Incursus: If you want, I'm all game. O h B T W, last time I pressed tab _twice_ after each E, just for fun.
I am addicted to this channel. His way of showcasing and playing is soooooooooo satisfying. The videos are long, so I get to enjoy something awesome for so long, and his humor. Saying something hilarious seriously and without laughing is gold.
That returning oponent was a nice respectfull player , really liked that guy. And love how he didn't give up and kept trying. He had you really pay attention for a few moments in that last match was pretty cool. He just wasn't nearly as good at aiming his snipers is what got him.
More forts more forts I honestly just started watching you maybe a month and a half back and have already gone through the whole playlist and livestreams
This has to be my favourite video. I watched it two to three years ago along with all your other FOrts videos but this one really stuck with me. This is the cheesiest of strat and I love it.
I wonder if you could counter this with either lots of early machine gunners, a mortar rush, or by moving your core, turning everything into background bracing, turbines and shields and just sit it out. That last one won't give the defending/turtling player a win, but it would force the opponent to at least adapt and build something else. On another note, imagine doing this with Scattershot; slower reload and accuracy, but twice the bullets at a time, or with Firebird (for the incendiary effect).
Nope. Im with you man. I stumbled on an Incursus video in my RU-vid feed. Never heard of Forts before but I love me some base building and RTS so checking out a game of the two genres appealed to me. Ive now been watching his videos for like 3 days. Ive lost count how many videos Ive watched so far. I even have Forts on my steam wishlist now so that I can buy it someday. Game looks intimidating to learn or at least play against others as a noob, but hey at least im getting Incursus training 😆
Tried this against one of my friends. The moment he saw the snipers we knew what was gonna happen, and it was too late. It's now his least favourite strategy XD
This reminds me of the scene in every comedy movie where a tiny guy is just punching a giant guy in the stomach while the giant guy is casually standing there....
Opponent: Hey! I’m a big fan! GL! Incursus: He wastes his time and energy by typing, such a fool to give me this valuable leeway so as I can destroy him in embarrassing manner. Perish quickly weakling.
