SNJDC hosted their Clean Energy Conference on 6/25/24 with keynote speakers New Jersey Board of Public Utilities President Christine Guhl-Sadovy and New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Commissioner Shawn M. LaTourette.
The program also featured a panel discussion on Grid Improvements for Transmission and Distribution, moderated by Robert Baranowski of Hyland Levin Shapiro LLC and featuring panelists Janice Fuller of Anbaric Development Partners, Ian Michel of Point Energy Solutions, and Debbie Yakubics of Atlantic City Electric.
Dr. Kenneth Lacovara of Edelman Fossil Park at Rowan University discussed the fossil park and museum as a model of sustainability.
And a legislative panel discussing policy needs to overhaul our grid moderated by Dr. Benjamin Dworkin of the Rowan Institute for Public Policy & Citizenship featuring Assemblyman Bill Spearman of District 5, Senator Bob Smith of Disctrict 17, and Eric Miller of the Governor's Office of Climate Action and the Green Economy.
