Can we all agree SNL is and has been great? People act like every episode of the 90's was full of all-star clips, and then they mention the same 12 every time.
There were whole shows in the 90s where there was not a single good sketch so romanticizing that era is not what the reality was. It's been pretty good lately, but they have the problem of being a network show that has to appeal to a huge swath of people so I find it a bit broad at times. I think there is better written satire elsewhere and their political parodies can be time filling and pointless. But there are generally a few good sketches every episode and the logistics of doing this every week is a huge achievement.
@@JammastaJ23 i disagree with your assessment.... this is not about romanticizing, it's about laughing when i watched it then and not being able to crack a smirk when i watch it now
I’ve been waiting for someone to include the I’m gonna watch a murder show in one of these!! It’s so catchy and goddam they all look so stunning 🔥🔥🔥🥰🥰🥰
I don't know about zombie 🐹 lofl... but do know this is an excellent SNL compilation... shorter clips of a buttload of the best (even several I'd never seen, hot damn!). Kudos to you who put it together... luv to see more 🤗
1. Because people ALWAYS fight over the ice cream machine on chopped 2. The gun is unexpected It’s a beautiful combination or an expected reference mixed with an unexpected over the top element.

It's happening all over RU-vid. RU-vid shuts down channels that are suspected to be bots, so they use a random word generator and post mass-comments to bypass detection. Do not reply to them or it legitimizes them. I just flag every one that I see.
It’s for a sketch when Adam driver was on. In the sketch there’s a meeting of white nationalist or supremest and they’re describing aspects about a white paradise or vacation spot and Adam’s Driver’s character mentions Vermont fits what they’re describing. The sketch is funnier than how I’m describing it.

did you just click the recommended words. Like: the most important part is the most important part of the process that the government has made it difficult for us
You can only be on SNL these days if you'll giggle during a sketch that's bombing... Jimmy Fallon had the good sense to giggle during awesome sketches -- like cowbell. But now Lorne Michaels only accepts young comics who can't hold a straight face and knowingly crack for a laugh... Somebody's gotta tell them they aren't being funny. Lorne? Lorne?
Some of the newer stuff is funny, but it will NEVER COMPETE with the "ORIGINAL" and the episodes with Phil Hartmann and crew. Past Time to "PULL THE PLUG"!!!!
Who said it has to compete? And let's not pretend the originals weren't also up & down either. I'd suggest watching the recent documentary SNL put out about how they made a show during COVID. Not only will you see all the hard work that goes into making a show, but you'll see the outpouring of love from people who said SNL saved them/kept them sane during the pandemic. This last season was incredible, in spite of everything. Every generation likes to think their era of comedy or music is better than the next gen, without considering that alot of that is opinion rooted in bias and nostalgia. I've been trying very hard to be gracious to Gen Z as a result. So maybe get some self-awareness bud.
