Hi Steve, I have played snooker for 59 years and continue to do so. Your skill as a teacher is most apparent. I hope you keep producing these excellent tutorials. Regards: Wayne from Winnipeg

after 6 hours spread over a couple of days, i finally managed to clear all the colours..not once but twice..first time ever in my life.....my cue ball control was almost none existent .. but after watching your video's , it started to make sense... i worked on one ball at a time...trying to get optimum position for the next ball... and finally ...i achieved something in snooker... one step at a time

Another great video although it’s always good to see exactly where you’re striking the cue ball with an image onscreen as it shows the degree of topspin stun or screw on each shot which is always dependant on the distance between cue ball and object ball, really enjoy watching your tutorials and learning a lot from them.

I have seen numerous training videos on youtube by various coaches however, I find your simple explanation and approach to the game is very refreshing, and easy to understand. Keep up the good work, I'm sure that you will get a lot more snooker players watching you clips. I do have one request, would it be possible to use a spotted training ball so that we could see exactly where to strike the cue ball when using side or screw. This should give us a good understanding of what happens to the object ball when side or screw is used.

Hi there. Thank you very much for the nice comments. Good idea about the spotted white, this is something I will try and do in some future videos. On my latest videos I do now try and display a white ball on screen so that you can see where I am striking on different shots. Thanks for watching!

Have you any tips for keeping the cue on the line I can't seem to come through straight I think this is the reason I'm not improving

Hi. You need to first make sure you have a good basic setup. Then you need to practice delivering the cue straight. What I advise first, is to practice cueing with no balls on the table for a few minutes. Move the cue very slowly backwards and forwards and just get a feel for what it feels like to control the cue in a straight line.
