FINALLY! THE ONE YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR! Not that annoying loop, but strings on the Nate Dogg vocals and synth on the hook. Not 100% perfect, but about as close as we're gonna get until Dr. Dre opens up his vault. Enjoy!
This is "Barney Rubble", original keyboardist on this song. Doc DID NOT do this track. Daz Dillienger did the drums, Ricky Rouse on guitar, and I did the bass line and all the keyboards. This is really really close to the original, one chord is wrong, but everything else is dope. Good job who ever did it!!
OMD I can finally ask, was this beat inspired by Tom Brown - "Jamaica Funk"? because I always used to mix the two in my sets, please reply one of my favourite beats of that era
Cuz IIIIIIIIIIIII have never met a girrrrrrrrrrrlllll That IIIIIIIIIIII - I love in the whole wide wooooooorrrrrrrrrld This shit brings back childhood memories. I miss them 90's.
WOW! I'd like to thank you on behalf of all the fans of this song. You all did a fantastic job! I remember seeing your name in the album liner notes. Because of the infusion of funk, Jazz in music like this, it opened me up to a whole new world. I now listen to Sinatra and Boney James, etc. thanks to musicians like you. The instrumental here was remixed by me. I put together a clean, 8-bar loop and added some of the additional instruments (strings, synth.) I hope I did it some justice. ;)
Hi man im dj NRaider, i dont know if you remember me I upload your instrumental to my channel i give you credits and put the link like the first time Greatings man!
I did not produce this beat. I simply remixed it into an instrumental. For full production credits, see Sean Kristopher's post below. Thanks for commenting!
I'm confused on what you did. It sounds like the real instrumental. You took the loop and added what was missing? Or reproduced? I know you're not the original producer, but it's by far the most complete version of this I heard and I'm impressed to find out this isn't the real version produced by Daz and mixed by Dre.
dbjungle That's correct. I actually had to piece together the loop from different parts of the song and added what was missing. And as Sean pointed out, the very last chord of the 4-bar loop is inaccurate. Glad you enjoyed it, though!
