Ty so much....I love this beautiful place...I worked at the national park inn at Longmire summers 1969 and 1970....we went hiking every day after our shift and longer hikes on our days off ❤❤❤

@@zakandblue well, I'm 73, and that was 50 + years ago 🤷‍♀️...I do remember rampart ridge, pinnacle peak ,and the van trump trail...I also got to meet Lou Whitaker who would come into the inn once in a while...he had just started the mountaineering school

@@patsalas5170 that sounds amazing. I imagine you have a lot of great stories. I have so much respect for all of the hikers and explorers that paved the way for today. Lou Whitaker is quite an important figure, especially in our area.
