You won’t be disappointed! Mine is still doing great. Much better than the other plastic ones that just give you chips of ice. You’ll need to get a feel for how much pressure to push the ice down to get it just right but it’s easy enough and you’ll have amazing snow cone quality! Freeze some water in plastic cups, a solid block will work better than cubes. Also start out with gentle pressure then slowly increase the pressure until you get a feel for the right amount. ENJOY 😎

I have the same machine. It is much better to put a solid piece of ice instead of cubes. Its a more fluffier texture. I use my machine everyday. I dont make snowcones I only eat the fluffy ice!!!

I was knocked out with the Italian ice that I made, but there's too much sugar in it. Could you freeze fruit juice and come up with something similar to Italian ice but with less sugar with this shaver? Thanks
Yes, you can do that. It’ll just take a little effort to clean the unit after you use it. You could even purée fresh fruit add just a little water then freeze it. Experimenting is half the fun!

To get it to shave the ice, it will need to be a single piece of Ice. Cubes will chip instead of shaving. You’ll love it! I think I’ve had mine for 3years now. I’ve considered Puréeing fruit and mix with a little water and freezing it! Only concern is how to clean up the machine…. But it sounds delicious 😁

That can be a little tricky. It does come apart but I’ve never attempted it! I only use pure ice so there’s no food produce in mine. Maybe when I get caught up with “stuff” I’ll do a follow up and taking it apart to deep clean it….. Thanks for watching and suggesting a follow up.👍
You’re welcome. I had tried one of those nationally advertised plastic ones….. It just produced hard chips of ice. This product really makes fluffy white snow like ice. I think the new version has 2 or 3 blades! Mine has a single blade. I’m guessing more blades would work better.

They are all about the same. A company buys them in a bulk shipment and puts their name on them. Here’s an example of one that is like mine but they have made a little improvement. Pre freeze ice in plastic cups about 3/4 full. When you start shaving the ice, start with gentle pressure and gradually increase pushing the handle until you start getting the snow like shavings. You’re going to love it! I started with a plastic one that made gritty ice chips… not what I wanted. Then I just got lucky when I bought this one! Two years running and still happy😁

There’s several that are actually the same one just with different name plates put on them. Just go on Amazon and search “Shaved Ice Machine “ And you’ll find several. No, but I’m guessing it would work even better and would come out even more “snow like”! I have put both cream on the ice as well as covered a scoop of ice cream with the ice. Both were delicious! One concern for using frozen milk is making sure that you clean the blades and machine very well. It’s all one unit so you can’t immerse in water nor put it in the dishwasher 🥴. I have also thought of flavoring the ice! Fresh fruit liquified or a sugary kool-aid mix. Hmmm, maybe a Ice Machine II VIDEO 🥴 Thanks for watching 👍👍
In the Caribbean we eat the snowconr with the syrup and condense milk drizzled over it. Its delicious. Its almost the same idea as the ice cream on the bottom.
Hmmm, mine does shave it like snow, not chunky at all. Try freezing a plastic cup a little more than 1/2 full. Then gently apply pressure downward with the handle. Then increase or decrease the pressure to obtain the fluffy snow like ice. Did you use just ice cubes? That might give you chunks? I’ve had mine a couple of years now with no problems. Before I had a plastic one and it was terrible.

I don't know I you have any use for chainsaws but I got myself into those holzforma Chinese Husqvarna clones saws and I was blown away. Quality only marginally lower than that of the OEM.
