Congrats on your first snow goose of hopefully many more!

I recognized that goose. Shot at him down here in Kansas. I’m the reason those flocks won’t come in to your decoys. Seriously though, by the time they get up to you guys they have already seen and heard everything. They might come in to an e-call the first couple times. But if they live through that, they know the difference. Average age is 8 years. Can live over 20. You get busted by a ten year old from half a mile away. I’ve seen a thousand birds split to go around both sides of the decoys from quarter mile away.

Where in South Dakota did you hunt and what days did you hunt? How many total birds did you guys end up taking?

That’s what happens when you get your snow goose hunt expectations from RU-vid… usually always misleading… shooting skills might need some work…🙂🤦🏻

Sorry but you need to learn how to wing shoot, your lead and prediction is way off.
