This song played at my brothers wedding, someone decided the Lay on the floor and spontaneously the whole wedding party lay on floor all around the room holding hands and singing this song. One of my fondest memories. Sounds silly but was beautiful. Family and friends laying together in harmony and love. Philip and Kirsty still going strong.
$2 bucks ain't gonna cut it....However you keep up those Sunday NFL halftime sessions in the shed with your stepdads boys and start charging you might get there - simp
+prettylittlebenzo PLL i totally agree concerts like this when all the crowd is into it are memories for the live time. i got some of it but to see this makes me want more :)
I lived in Ireland at the time. My wife and I drove home from Raftery's Pub in Craughwell (Co. Galway) listening to this concert live on the radio. We knew that we had just missed the concert experience of our lives. Any crowd: "We sing along. Lalala!" Irish crowd: "Hold my Guinness!" Still blowing me away!
you can see at the start he takes his earpiece out so he can hear the crowd. which means he can hardly hear the band and himself sing and he still sounds that good :o incrediable
This is a home crowd for Snow Patrol - this is what got them noticed and then they came to Scotland, England and then US etc Oxegen was a huge festival at the time at Punches Town racecourse
I remember being there, 16 years old and it was my first festival, Oxegen was one of the best festivals in Europe at the time, I remember camping Inbetween a group of lads from Ballymun that sneaked in and a group of primary school teachers
Saw Snow Patrol live at the O2 back in 2011 on their Fallen Empires tour. The crowd singing along was amazing and arguably the best bit of the concert. I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like to be there. The atmosphere is everything at a concert, this looks like one of the best.
Back once again... to listening to the most amazing live gig I've been at in my entire life. In the pit somewhere one the left side that night. Well worth standing for hours to get into the pit. Still brings tingles through the spine listening to it...
We'll do it all Everything On our own We don't need Anything Or anyone If I lay here If I just lay here Would you lie with me and just forget the world? I don't quite know How to say How I feel Those three words Are said too much They're not enough If I lay here If I just lay here Would you lie with me and just forget the world? Forget what we're told Before we get too old Show me a garden that's bursting into life Let's waste time Chasing cars Around our heads I need your grace To remind me To find my own If I lay here If I just lay here Would you lie with me and just forget the world? Forget what we're told Before we get too old Show me a garden that's bursting into life All that I am All that I ever was Is here in your perfect eyes, they're all I can see I don't know where Confused about how as well Just know that these things will never change for us at all If I lay here If I just lay here Would you lie with me and just forget the world?
I live 15 miles from where this was held and I remember getting a call after there set from family saying they could hear it at home..... best night EVER
One of favourite ever songs. Remember singing this on holiday in a bar for a laugh(14 years old) this was my proper first ever kiss, at the back of the bar we met up.. she was sitting two tables away from me with her family, never forget that night and this song.
