I love so much this theme, the Snow Queen theme and all of its variants were definitely one of my favorite things of playing the SQQ in PSX, I really love the SQQ and seeing how the PSP version butchered it makes me sad
most of P1's PSP OST is a disgrace, also with Atlus ironic statement that they couldnt fit all songs in because they were apparently too big but then P2 IS their OST was able to do just fine with that :/
@@Evilriku13 That seems rather weird to me because the PSP is more powerful and has more memory than the PS1. If they were able to fit all that on the PS1, then they should definitely be able to do that for PSP. I think it was just poor optimization on their part. It's probably the same reason why the songs loop prematurely. Either that or poor compression. They would realize this by the time of the Persona 2 remasters though. Notice how Persona 2 PSP lets you customize the volume of the music as well as the sound effects. Persona 1 for the PSP didn't have anything like that at all. I find this level of inexperience rather strange since ATLUS has worked with the PSP before with titles like Devil Summoner and Growlanser.
Some songs from this score sound like they're remixes. ''Name Entry" sounds like a remix of "Encounter" from SMTII. The Convenience Store track sounds like a remix of the Gym theme from SMTII as well. City 1 - Post Disaster sounds like it's remixing the Kichijoji theme from SMTI. I'm not entirely certain if they ARE remixes, but they certainly sound similar.
