Funny in mid SUMMER desperate for the winter.......( Crap summer so not surprised). Great conditions for that camp..... nothing like it. 👌 In my emergency bag I keep one of those striker spark things. You can light a stove without worrying about wet matches or gas run out ( I take a lighter normally but have it handy )
Arron from Boro here. You’re right we had to cuddle up, the temperature didn’t seem to lift all night but the dog kept us warm. Although the snow did ease off and we were able to get out the tents for a few drinks and had a laugh. Thanks for the shoutout. New subscriber.
Cheers Dave - yeah i suppose as long as pitched with head into wind this wont happen. In the video the wind swung around so got stung a little. no big issue!
What an adventure, this video should impress on anyone that the right equipment and knowledge is a must in such circumstances. I have a rule, when I can't see where I'm going because of whiteout or mist, time to setup camp! Stay put, at least one can't fall of the edge if one is pitched!
Amazing vid, hike and camp. if this was 2nd March i was up there too but camped on top of High Street and snow up there was insane but such a great adventure
I did warn you the views were "awesome" higher up 😂 tent looked like it handled it easy. You probably know but you can pay for overnight parking at the Patterdale Hotel by card at reception. How'd the quilt get on?
This look great adventure. I love too snow camp! All the video was shoot with the Osmo Action 4? I m interested of buying and I have to say that I m impressed from the IQ.
Lovely camp! What was the compression sack for the tent at the end there? Looking for something like that as the bag it comes in doesn't squeeze down that well...
