We went to visit our friends' ‪@PhilandAlex‬, but got SNOWED IN and couldn't leave! Of course every minute was a total blast! From sledding down their hill to making chili, to the kids even doing a home made snow ice cream contest so we could judge, it was seriously so much fun!

It's great to see Linky clearly communicating with you guys. Until now we always saw him saying yes to food 😂 and saying yes when you ask if he is excited etc.😁 but now he clearly understands what you ask him, what sledding is and remembers that he didn't like it the last time and expresses his feelings. Great job Linky, we all are proud of you👦 👏 👍 💙

Oh Wow! The ice cream brings back so many memories from my childhood. We couldn't wait for the second snow of winter because that is when my Mom would make snow ice cream. I love this family and their videos but in this instance I did not like that they did not accept Lincoln’s answer. They really should accept and respect his no when he says it. As a person with a disability that is my pet peeve! I know he has communication difficulties but they asked him a question and he clearly communicated a no. Would they have made Ethan or Liam go sledding anyway if they said no? I have had my feelings disregarded in that way before and it made me feel like I was not allowed to say no when adults wanted me to do something. Just my opinion from my perspective.

@@KSalmon74 I had the exact same thoughts! Especially, since there are so many much kinder and calmer ways to start sledding, it does not have to be the "butt-on-the-ground-super-fast-down-the-hill-snow-sprinkling-into-your-face" type of experience. I come from Austria, and we typically have lots of snow every winter. Everyone loves sledding, but for the small kids you start slow, on a slightly higher wooden sled that looks almost like a babyswing in the back, and offers lots of support. You just pull them, or go down small hills sitting up straight, holding on to the sled. That's the beginning of snow fun for small kids who cannot really comprehend what's happening.

At least you are with friends!! Sounds like a great way to be snowed in and fun too! I think Linc needs his own show, he loves the camera and always want to say hi!! I am so done with snow!! Love Penelope's glasses! Your friends seem like funny wonderful people! You guys do all look similiar! Did Linc lose a tooth? How did he react? Aww sweet kisses! Dad: whose the heart for? We love spending time in the snow with our little ones! How fun to be snowed in with friends. Once you are done playing outside in the snow, perhaps you will want to sing along to our diverse nursery rhymes that aim to represent the underrepresented. We have two Broadway singers and have been featured on Pix 11 News in New York. We hope you join us in teaching children about diversity in the world.

You guys had so much fun sledding. I was a little worried about Ethan because he didn't have on boots. I remember making ice cream from snow when I was little. Now they say you shouldn't eat it because of acid rain. There was some pretty creative flavors though 😋 BTW, your friends are hilarious.

Have you’ve guys thought about teaching Lincoln some sign language? I have no doubt that Lincoln will be fully speaking one day, but ASL helps give that extra boost of communication. When I was younger I got sick and lost the ability to speak, so my parents thought me basic sign language for the time being, but thankfully I relearned to speak, but the ASL really helped me regain a sense of communication to reach the pivotal point of learning to talk again. Regardless of your decision I send my love to Lincoln and your family 💕❤️💕
