Hello everyone, my name is Alexey, I live in Russia in the city of Yekaterinburg. My four-legged friend's name is Pyosel. Today we came to my underground house, which I built myself. Winter has come outside, snow continues to fall and covers everything around with a white blanket. To get inside you need to clear the entrance of snow. It's a good thing I left the shovel outside, otherwise I would have had to shovel the snow with my hands. Everything inside is fine, nothing is broken or stolen. Someone was here and left me instant noodles as a gift, that's very nice. The first thing I do is light a fire inside the stove to warm myself up. Outside -4°C inside +3°C, soon the oven will heat the room. I noticed a butterfly that had fallen asleep right on the door of my underground shelter. I took a screwdriver with me to remove the tarp that protected the doors from the rain. To make it easier to move around, I cleared the area of snow and then brought the firewood inside. Unfortunately, while I was away, there were not only friendly people here, but also mice that shit right on the washbasin and sink. I'll have to clean it all, throw something in the trash. The table is also very dirty and dusty. There are sawdust on the bed that fell from the ceiling. I love order, so when I tidied up, I felt calmer and more pleasant to be here. Now I will start preparing the soup, I will need: meat, potatoes, onions, carrots, dill. The soup turned out very tasty. After eating we went for a walk to cool off and run in the snow. Before going to bed, I read the book that I took to my log cabin last time, I also looked at the burning candle, it was mesmerizing. Time to sleep. Good night. At night I wake up to add wood to the stove. In the morning I like to wash my face with snow, it’s refreshing. Yesterday's soup was very tasty. It's time to pack your things and go home! See you soon and thanks for watching! So good to see you again Alexey. You and Pyosel are always a welcome sight. You take such care of your things. I could almost smell that delicious looking soup you made. The snow was a welcome sight for me as I live in Florida in the United States. Well my friend I will say good bye for now but await your next video. A friend across the waters 😊
Thank you Alexey- the young man that likes tidiness and order - when you sweep your hut you are also sweeping your mind.Pyosel is a trusty friend who asks for little and gives so much in return.
I still remember that video from a while back when Pyosel first came into Your life! He found you and followed you all the way ❤ Aww he is your guardian angel 👼🏼
If you can get essential oil like cinnamon or clove oil, it will keep the mice away. Just put in as many corners or crevices as you can before you leave to go home. Also you can spread whole cloves around the floor around your walls. You can use containers of vinegar also because they don't like the smell and won't be able to smell it your next visit if you put a lot out. After a while, the mice will avoid your dugout and you wont have to use much of the oils or vinegar. Looks like you have a lot of mice so I would use both vinegar and cloves for at least a month to get rid of them. The feces and urine have diseases so be careful to wash your gloves after you clean. Take care and stay warm.
Great video. May I suggest covering your table, kitchen counter, and sink with a large plastic garbage bag or even a large vinyl table cloth, that way you can shake the mice feces and dust outside and save you time with cleaning. Stay safe and God bless. 🙏 🫂 😊
I love this dugout but I’m also watching the progress on Alexey’s new shack. I’m always amazed that you can build stuff like this and other people go there and use it and respect it and leave it as they found it. In England it would be trashed or burned out by some moron out of jealousy. A wonderfully relaxing video. 👍👍
Do you really think a Russian Vodka fueled visitor will respect any shelter? If you build on your own land you won't have problems with people trashing it.
@@donraptor6156 But was that Alexey’s own land? I’ve never seen anything to suggest he owns that area and he didn’t seem to know who had been in and left him the pot noodles.
In Germany you aren't even allowed to build such stuff in the forest. When a forester finds such constructions, he might destroy it on its own 😢really sad. And even when you own a piece of forest and can build a cute hut, you aren't safe cause there's always an idiot who will find it and destroy it 😒😞that's why I enjoy Alexey's videos so much. It's something completely impossible to do here. And seeing this lovely quiet winter forest is balm for my soul. 😍😍So much snow 😍😍
You got it made,Alexey! More priceless than any rich person in the world could buy. You built it on your own, made it your own with your own money you've earned(bit here and a bit there to make it...a home away from home)...there's NO amount of money in the world that can buy from what you build from your heart. It's cool that others used it and respect your underground hut shelter...even left food for ya as payment for you, for using your hut. That's cool others respect you for that...great video btw...if I had a Hut like that, built by my own 2 hands,well..I stayed out there for the weekend at least, but that's me. Anyway...you're blessed to accomplish something you did on your own,had your best friend with ya...y'all had fun out there. Keep it up ,Alexey...and thumbs up back at ya! 👍
I love watching people eat when they're camping because it makes me realize that whatever it is that they're eating it is so good, thank you for sharing 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you, Alexa. You created a beautiful cabin. If you’re looking for something to read , if you can find a Russian translation of Walden. It’s a collection of essays by Henry David Thoreau about his experiences living in the cabin he built in 1845 in a forest next to a pond. You and Thoreau seem like kindred spirits.
Mr. Alexey I love your channel and watching the things you build. The forest or jungle are places where you can be alone with your mind. Of course it's an experience most people don't happen to have. The solitude of mind, heart, and soul, can bring about, out of you, your spiritual being, which will bring you to a new understanding of all things. I'm 80 years old and I miss the close relationship with God,that the quietness of the jungle provides. Be Safe!! 32:06
There is something to be said for a night in a dugout or cave during a snowstorm. The peace and tranquility are unmatched. Stir a good dog into the mix and it heaven on earth, My Bulldog Buddy and I frequently camp in a cave on my property during thunder and snowstorms, I sleep like the dead and wake more rested than any other time. I'll fix dinner, eat my fill and Buddy of course gets the leftovers. about 45 minutes after that we are both snoring away. It's great.
Great video, may i suggest putting a a grommet in each side of the outside door, attach a rope to each side of the bottom of the door cover so you can pull it down from the inside to add extra insulation
Wonderful video Alexey. I hate to see them end. The dugout looks so warm and cozy. You take such great care of Pyosel. He loves you a lot! Keep your the great work and may God bless you and Pyosel
Good morning fom Texas USA. Alex, it shows testament to your building ability that the Dugout and Cabin are still intact and used by others (not the mice) good job, cannot wait until your new house is finished! Stay safe my friend.
Hello Alexey, I enjoyed your video today. The snow is beautiful there, but it made me shiver. I could hear the wind blowing. You got a nice fire going and warmed the dugout quickly. You got the dugout all cleanwd up and then you were ready to cook. The soup looked delicious and warming. Pyosel has gotten so big. He is always full of adventure!!. It was great to see you two enjoy on an overnight at the dug out. Be safe, stay warm. Looking forward to your next adventure. Alabama USA
Pozdrawiam serdecznie z Polski. Trzymaj się zdrowo.
May Our God protect you during these dangerous times I am an American Christian who loves Russian people your culture and I hope soon I can find away to see your beautiful country love your little earth house
Nice to see you and Pyosel spend the night in the old dugout. It must be nice and peaceful staying there having the feeling of being protected from the elements in a dugout made by your own hands. I guess you have about the same temperature and weather as we have in Sweden right now, as we live on almost the same latitude.
Loved your vid! I'm a dog person, so to see one of the survivalists with a dog makes the video! Your joy at being outside is visible to all. Also major kudos to those who used your dugout and not only left it as it was but probably replenished the wood and left you a small gift. Give Pyosel and hug from Texas! Where I am, we don't get much snow, so this is beautiful!
Hello Alexey and Pyosel! 👋🐶👍 Am glad to see you're back in your dugout and everything is in place, nothing was lost or stolen! 😊 even those who visited didn't vandalized your place. Thanks for bringing us with you through your video. Love it!
Hi Alexey, I live in North Central Florida, a far cry from Russia! I enjoyed your video so much and wish I could do things like build and stay in an underground house in the snow, have a wonderful warm fire to heat and cook on and a precious doggy like yours. Thank. you so much for sharing with us!! 😊Kathleen
Loved the video. Glad you had a friendly visitor that respected your property. Like earlier suggested, cover your table and wash basin with something that can be taken outside to clean. Rat feces can carry a disease so wear a mask the next time until all of it is cleaned and outside. Stay safe young man. From an old lady, I love your videos and hope you can continue on your house project soon.
It is nice to see them at the Dugout. I wonder if he is going to be able to work on the cabin since the snow will be a problem and will not go away but increase over the winter until probably Spring.

A big wave to you Alexey. Yep, cold snow on your face in the morning should definitely wake you right up. Pyosel is a great friend and companion, you are so lucky to have met each other. He makes me smile every time I see him (and so do you). Those mice certainly left you quite a mess (yuck)! Dirty job but someone has to do it. Loved the video. Hope to see you again soon. Stay warm and safe.
Pozdrowienia z polski
I hope you live in a safe part of the country. Some people here in the US have a dim view of Putin, but I like and respect him. Of course I don't live there. My first thought when I was scrolling and came upon this video I thought, my main man.😊😊
checking in from Zimmerman, MN. You've got more snow there than we do Alexey. Pyosel looks happy and energetic! It is calming and relaxing to watch you two in your outdoor adventures, I always look forward to watching your videos. Stay safe and warm.
