Its a cool mechanic they added and i do like its only fuel costs not special types of material. It adds to the game without taking away from it by forcing us to micromanage too much.
Yeah I prefer this system from what was on flooded foothills 👍🏻! I think there might be bricks that need crafting, but overall this covers nearly all materials and keeps it a lot simpler!
I've put my generators in place hooked up to an f 750 with a large fuel trailer parked right next to it. Then all I need to do is pull up change to the f 750 switch on the generator, change truck, craft what I need then switch back, turn off the generator, refuel it and then switch back and head off with the cargo. Easy.😎
When crossing that river (from garage to CCS), don't thread the needle, stay to the right/downstream side of both rocks and power right through in high gear! 👍
I just use a truck with the fuel addon on the frame and tow the generator out and leave the truck attached to the generator so i can fuel it up at anytime, without hooking and unhooking
Here's my theory...i think the terrain is a little more trollish because its to help slow down mods also knowing that some can be a little too op when it comes to going thru thick mud. Also try this...when going thru that river crossing, try going around to the right instead of thru the middle. I thought it was a lil quicker imo. 👍
I have now completed the entire paper factory. You actually need to steal bricks from a task in grainwood river. It’s the only place you can get the last 4 bricks you need. I was looking for hours to find bricks. It could have been me accidentally loosing them or something tho. Basically there wasn’t enough bricks in regular pickup zones.
Don't know if you have seen the new paint scheme for the voron grad but I think it's the best paint job in the game. Another great video from a goddam professional
I did this last night. Drug a generator to the other 2 locations, and the 30K liter fuel carrier to each one and built a ton of cargo by switching between 2 trucks to construct cargo and fill the generator. So far the JBE Mods, Tatarin, Voron D, and P16 have done the lion's share of the work, as well as the Last Raider and Titanious Maximus. If it ever shows back up, the 3 pack trucks series from GGMS is well worth looking at. The logging capability of the Electric Tayga is much better than the stock vehicle. It seems suspicious to me that none of the JBE trucks have the logging gear, and the ix3880 is nowhere to be found. A move to force us into using base trucks for logging perhaps? It only took me the better part of an hour to get the first Sequoia tree loaded on the Electric Bruce.
Yeah it’s nice that the crafting can be done just using fuel which makes it all more simple! I’ve not used mods yet but I think I’ll do these maps on my second playthrough and use mods on that one Yeah I think there’s a few trucks that already have the logging carriage, but other mods will update them too and add them, I’m not sure if JBE purposely left them off? But then some trucks are too short, I think the truck improvement pack has a dolphin that has a log carrier on the back! The heavy wrecker has been removed as well so the modder can add the logging stuff, so maybe JBE will add them to various mods soon enough 👍🏻
I've all but given up on the vanilla trucks, including the one's I paid for with hard-earned, post-tax dollars. 🙄 JBE mod's (Loadstar, P16, BM17, etc.), and multiple Twice Twinsteers, are doing the job for me. Regardless of the dev's motivations, I refuse to be trolled! 😜 Git'er done!
To me it looks like the second vehicle has been switched to pull mode. Yesterday I took a Boar with long log trailer and a 750 with the medium log trailer from Smithville over to Island Lake. Boar was lead truck and I was towing the 750 behind. When I got to Island Lake was when I noticed the 750 didn't burn a single liter of fuel. From Smithville to Island Lake and the 750 still had 140/140L So road trains are more difficult now as it looks like the second truck no longer helps you along at all.
Yeah I was thinking that could be the case, since the long nose kolob wasn’t reversing when I crashed into the post with the road train? Hopefully they just add the option so we can choose what mode we want 👍🏻
@@itsmrlonewolf Indeed. I think they made this change probably for the new pull tasks. I know there is a stranded P12 you need to rescue as well as train you need to pull. Still the option to pick between push or pull just for owned vehicles would be nice.
Yes! you had the same issue I had. I couldn't winch between two twin steer trucks. Tried and tried, then suddenly it worked... :-/ and also experienced Mr Kolob literally stop and stutter his giant wheels yeah. I dunno whats going on.
Yeah it seems a few things are slightly off, the winch thing was driving me mad lol, nearly had to cancel my roadtrain! And I’m sure the kolob usually feels better than that, hopefully they patch it all back to normal over the next few days 👍🏻
That log holder on the P16 looks like it was made to hold a Lo4F side to side with the front axle on dance bar. I’m quitting Yukon, I went on after exploring these maps and it still says I need 15 cabins. Don’t know if it’s because I’m 1/2 way through but the mission text says I only need 2 or 3, but up in the right hand corner still shows 5 of 15.
Haha I’ve already had a loaf wedged in there lol that’s why it was on my p16, the loaf fits like it was made for it, and it really holds the loaf on well and stops it tipping off to the side even on a heavy landing 👍🏻🍞🐎! Yeah the Yukon missions are a bit of a mess! I think it might be because you started the mission before they updated it, but I can’t say for sure as I haven’t tried the mission at all so far, there’s a chance if you restart the mission that it could fully reset it? But I’d keep the cabins stashed first just incase 👍🏻
i think they didn't really change terrain physics but they changed smth with the tire-stats, as soon as i switched from chained to mud tires my grip was mostly back
Yeah I’ll test the tyres again on a few trucks, I tried chained and muds on the new paystar earlier and I couldn’t really find any difference, but I’ll try other trucks too 👍🏻
Mannnn... I wish I knew about this before traveling to each Metal farming area to another now at 2:51 I can make a certain amount of Metal beams I want with the generator
Yeah I got lucky really as I was going to do the rail bridge mission, but wanted to test the generators first and found out I could build metal beams, which is nice, other wise I’d have gone around scavenging the metal frames too 👍🏻
It has been said that I’ve lost a bit of grip a long time ago. 🤪 As for that sodding 8 slot trailer (He says as a yank trying to use British swear words), I’ve wanted to reach into the game, yank it out and throw it out my window 🤬. I have had that thing glitch into trees, poles, you name it. 🤯
Lol yeah the 8 slot trailer is often more hassle than it’s worth and I’ve got it glitched and stuck in just about everything too 👍🏻! I think the mod trailers that can hold 6-8 cargo are a better option than this thing!
I have to hold down (C) and sometimes I just get the task instead of the unload screen too. I also get where the truck will stop and the wheels don't rotate have to hit the gas pedal a few times to get the tires to rotate, and have you noticed the "Big pipe" task the pipe has no connection point so you can't lift it out of the river?
I think you might test out the mud etc with the Tatarin and Yar just to see how they feel. Seem the base vehicles that can test how bad things are with a scout.
Yeah eventually I’ll be driving all sorts across the map and seeing how it all feels! For the most part it seems fine, but there’s a few spots like the river that were very slow
Yeah I’ve tried the trailer locking thing, I still prefer the semi trailers, but it’s a nice option! And being able to delete trailers is nice too as I have one or two stuck in bridges lol 👍🏻
Woth phase 4 I wish they'd added more logging missions for the short logs to all the older maps like they did with logs initially. Basically makes the short log add on useless until you play Wisconsin.
Weird bug last night: brought the generator to two zones, started them up, everything is fine. Turned them off whlie driving around, came back, not possible to start them (truck attached) again. Enough fuel and in the square.
Yeah someone else said they couldn’t get a generator to start, they said they quit to the main menu and reloaded it and it worked fine, must be a small bug! Hope you get it sorted dude 👍🏻
I do like the idea of the generator and the cargo it creates just topping the fuel up ain't a problem tbh it takes a few seconds but in return gets you a load of cargo I'm not a fan of creating cargo from two items to make one its not very fun like you said we ain't cargo administration
Lol 👍🏻🍞🐎🚂! There’s a chance they’ve done that, but to be fair the maps feel faster overall than the last 2 map packs, so maybe they’ve relaxed a little bit as well, but there’s definitely sections where most trucks struggle
My latest issue(PS4) was a box popping up saying not enough Ram for mods and I could not continue my saved game? I connected to mod browser and unsubscribed to every mod I had. Now I can continue my game without being online. Also all the mods I had downloaded/and previously subscribed to now work offline without having to go online and verify every time I start the game as I had to before. I had stopped even using mods before this just because I hated having to go online each start up to verify mods in my game save, if I didn't go online I lost all the subscribed mods. I really wish they would sort this out. In the future with new patches will I just be able to start my game save offline and still retain my previous mods? I thought that's how it was all suppose to work? Also the big wrecker truck is still in my game I never lost it. Very odd happenings with the game lately!
I use my wench a lot. at time hack 1:50 I just pulled up and shot my wench at the generator trailer. then pulled it into place. saves time turning around. more than one time it has taken as long as 5 minutes just to turn around. LOL
Just to let you know, I’m pretty sure the money glitch is gone.. if you were referring to the free add on thing..I tried several times with the dump truck fuel tank (I think they made the garage UI a bit slower or something so it’s nearly impossible to time it right.. I didn’t try it in any of the old region garages tho) Also, that slow down section between garage and generator.. if you go right of it (going towards generator) there is like a small peninsula .. just drive on that and cross river.. it’s a lot faster.. also there are more winch points!
@@markrowe8824 well I just used that one for the glitch because the fuel container was 8500 lol you could do the glitch on anything that has a free add on next to an add on you have to buy and trick the game into buying it for free and then sell it and repeat.. but I haven’t been able to do it since the update.. :( I don’t really need to cheat but it was nice for building junkyards and stuff of trucks you will never drive just for the look haha
@@redanglerfish haven't checked if my money glitch still works since that last update but I currently have over 130mil so I don't think I'm going to run out of money soon.😀😀
Complete ''starting the power plant'' mission, to unlock the steel factory. Its on the centre of the map. It lets you convert metal beams to metal rolls. Metal beams can be got from the warehouse close to the garage.
Also on the second map there are 2 mini warehouses with 10 rolls in each. You have to do a mission for each to open the mini warehouses. They are in the hills so careful when choosing your truck.
About these "difficult" sections, they feel really out of place. I am fairly new to the game and you slowly pick up on all the details of SnowRunners physics and simulation aspects. How detailed something is or isn`t! These sections appear to me as if they have been hardcoded to make you slow throwing most of the physics out of the window maybe? It barely matters what Truck you bring, which tires how much ground clearance. They all pretty much struggle to the same degree.
