SnowRunner - Loading up Plane Wreck! (The Star in the Sky mission) 

This is probably the most fun mission I've played. I needed a fuel supply close by, a crane, a giant trailer and the heaviest truck in the game to pull it off, I loved it. We need more of this instead of the Yukon style "deliver 1000 cargo units over and over until you die"

Would say one of the hardest missions in the whole game, on the hardest map. Haven't played Yukon yet. Good work!

I tried so hard to get into this map I just couldn't do it I spent hours getting stuck restarting at first garage before getting new one unlocked lol very frustrating map

This is why you need to have very capable vehicles at the ready beforehand, and/or have friends along to aid you.

FYI - If not specified in the vid (i didn't need to watch all of it) Note: You need to take that huge trailer down once to activate the second stage. Then you need to drive it back to the airport (ONCE). Use crane/cargo trailer/cargo truck to bring the parts to airport. Then put them on the big trailer (at least I had to) pack, then drive over the yellow square. Simply back the truck up and wait for crane with last piece. Hope this helps someone.

I took the big trailer the first time for the body of the plane, the other pieces I just took my best truck and crane, picked the other parts up set it on the frame of the truck and took off. Plane parts didn't get caught on trees or anything. Just make sure the part is still attached to the crane when you take off. That trailer is just to big.

As far as I can tell, no one is commenting about how it got there. It likely got in a snowstorm and crashed into the mountain where the engine with wing part is at, then broke further when it hit the water. Tbh the plane should be in a LOT more pieces that it is. For the people complaining about the wide trailer, the parts are old and have subjected to the elements, there going to need more packaging to keep them safe, meaning more room on the bed of what ever is hauling it.

So you have to make 2 trips I assume? One for the fuselage and and another for the two wings sections? Ugh! I got the fuselage loaded but it wouldn't pack anything else. I was thinking about taking the long way round on the main road because I know how frustrated I get with the trees. Then again, the rocks are probably my least favorite thing about the game.

How are you driving while using the metal detector? Is it a setting that you have to turn on or something? It won't let me do that in my game.

Only in the PC version you can drive while using the metal detector? In console version, you have to enter the menu to use it, and you can't drive while the menu is on.

can you pack other cargoes and vehicles and trailers on that trailer (like u did with the plane) ?

3 hours of stream and I have to restart the mission because the trailer with the fuselage get stuck in a tree and it's imposible to unstuck It...

To me SnowRunner is not as enjoyable in this patch... I like to plan out the contrasts and tasks properly so that they can be done the most efficient way (not having to travel to the same place back and forth and leave no trailers behind etc). But this update seem to eliminate so many oppotunities to make difficult jobs easier or more enjoyable: a bunch of stiff trees and rocks that prevents many trucks to take short cuts, having to travel to the same places back and forth doing very similar stuff (Michigan big contrasts and this mission in the video), big ass payloads that requires various trucks and add-ons to get the job done... But I do understand making maps difficult and fun at the same time is probably a challenge.

If this took 20 minutes using 3 trucks and speed up for the video I can’t imagine how long it took to make it in real time

9:35 :D :D FIREEEE btw I find this mission very stupid when the game forces you to use the wide semi trailer even for the smaller parts like the wing and engine. I dont understand why you could not use simple flatbed or classic semi trailer. Developers in this dlc made so many riddiculous limitations to make it harder. It is not hard like other scenarios because thy simply added riddiculous obstactles which feels "fake" for example you have perfect road between your garage and the factory and they put there a log which you cant destroy with 20 ton truck - LOL. Also few meters further there is normal asphalt road and all of a sudden deep snow, rocks and boulder everywhere and narrow. Simple afterthought. I would crane all the aircraft parts somewhere so I would not have to use the riddiculously wide and large trailer 3 times.

Do you have to use the trailer from the airport I used the same trailer from the trailer store and I now have no unloading area at the airport. I really do not want to reset the task. it took me ages to get this far. Any suggestions? I even moved the wing to the other trailer and still no cargo unloading area. Games are supposed to be fun, sorry this one is just annoying. Stupid rocks, treacle snow and spring steel trees.

I took a left at 10:23 through the snowfield and it cut out that winching section. Struggled with engine but breezed through with fuselage somehow.

This game is so broken! Tasks disappear, won't let you finish them, retrieve vehicles and says you don't own them, constantly get kicked out the game in co-op. These devs don't give a crap about their game or the consumer at all, i wish I could get a refund but these greedy devs would never do that. Gamers are totally taken advantage of these days and we continue to buy and play their broken garbage games...gamers need to wake up and put a stop to this crap!
