Definitely need a new engine, I'm on xbox and I find the rear tires lock up if I come to a complete stop wile working rocks or going uphill. Most of these lower power engines would do fine if the game had an option to rev up the engine a little prior to releasing the clutch, Like a real truck would. Even in N the rps dont change even though I can hear the engine rev...

@@that_one5.349 thanks for the info, I use off road. So I'll change my statement and say, skip new engine, add off road special to the truck, and maybe wider axles (and or) wide tires so it won't tip over as easily. Just not taga tires! MHSll I like the most. They cut through the snow much better then MHSl & MHSlll 😉

allconsdeadspace I like the 63s on the way 6900 ts with the high range gearbox,I was using the two different ones with the same gearbox and the off-road struggled more hauling stuff up steep hills but does not help in mud the extra gears and name just make you think it’s better off-road

I actually already enjoy the TwinSteer on the Alaska region, especially White Valley. The driving is less tight muddy road focused and the truck is very fast. The AWD makes this thing great

I was wondering if they would do an awd for the wester star, 3 cheers for that! Now there is a few more things left on my in game want list. *Bigger engine for DL Long Horn. *Bigger engine, lift kit and snow tires for both Kolob heavy rigs. *Always on diff lock on Azov Arctic. *Wide body kit for Twin Steer. *1950's GMC 860 BullNose! *1980's Mack Cruiseliner Wrecker.

I find with this rig I have more luck with just the lift kit and the small dual rear tires instead of the bigger ones. They allow way more suspension travel and less lock ups from lack of power. Still cant wait to use awd though! Now just need bigger engine and maybe some rear steer : )

I hated a lot of trucks early on, but found they were good once you unlocked better tires. I drove the starter gmc straight up the side of the quarry with just rwd and locker with a full fuel tanker. It was hilarious because the front wheels stayed permanently off the ground

I think they need to add a semi version of the 6900 like in American Wilds mudrunner, with the 6x6 and diff lock, and same for the Chevy bison, just with upgradable Awd and diff lock. those were my two favorite trucks along with the blazer. Just a thought..

Well we seen two rwd semis the mh9500 and now the twinsteer. IF AM A BETTING MAN. I bet with the lift kit on the clt9000 since they had the lifted suspension on both the twinsteer and the mh9500. I bet that will be the next one with awd conversion. Yeah then the blue mule cabover as I call it can truly be a bad ass and I bet they will wait for phase 2 for it.

I loved the twin steer and traction was never a problem. Just tight trails caused it to roll just enough to dump the cargo so i just went bm17 and a semi trailer.

Is the BM17 the best hauler for flatbed duties? I have too many trucks with flatbeds and want to narrow it down.

@@Ward413 it's all personal preference. It and the cat truck are nice fully upgraded. I usually kept a saddle low and pulled trailers with it. The ank is nice for flatbed work except deep mud due to no mud tires and low fuel range.

Jeepin Dave I wish the Chevy Kodiak was more capable. It’s probably my favorite looking truck, especially since it has the same interior as the Suburban from the same era. And those first gen Kodiaks in real life came with a 10.4 liter Cat engine! So bad ass. So it’s a shame you can’t put mud tires on it. But I still find it pretty capable fully upgraded; hauls ass in high gear with the Highway gearbox.

@@Ward413 ive used the c70 or c60 whatever it is with the big mid tires. Does pretty well for smaller work. The kodiak is the free starter truck so i never expected much from it. I used the fleet start for all of Michigan and then gave up on it in Alaska.

Jeepin Dave Yeah they balanced it kind of weird where I think the AWD for it is located in Alaska. But by that point you have access to bigger and better trucks. I hadn’t used it since early in the game either but I bought one recently and decked it out now that I’m at Lvl 17 and I honestly think it’s a hidden gem. I bet most people never tried it fully upgraded since everyone associated it with being a starter truck and likely only experienced it in RWD.

Twinsteer has a 5x flatbed wich is as big as the biggest trailers so i think the best use for it is to have another truck with a heavy crane to load a huge log or a plane piece but that's very rare cargo. Every simple materials that need 1x or 2x i can carry with a simple flatbed,i don't need to deliver everything at once. It's a very specialized truck full of limitations and if i have to compare it to other specialized trucks i think CAT 745G and Pacific P16 are much better.

Not all developers have the money to finish a game, it's a cost cutting strategy that most companies use nowadays. if you want a finished game you'll probably have to wait for a year or 2. Why is it unfair that upgrades are locked behind paid for DLC? I guess they could just release a new vehicle instead, but then the same will complain about OP vehicles behind a pay wall
