Testing the GravGrip with my HERO 8, I have the Media Mod on my HERO 8 which makes it a little heavier and i have some tilting problems with GravGrip. Boost stabilization is off on the videos. I would not suggest to buy it, even tho I could find a use for it i would still go with any other gimbal, you can get the DJI OSMO mobile and get the adapter for your GoPro if you use the GoPro.

This is the biggest rubbish I've ever bought on Kickstarter/Indiegogo. I was one of the first to receive in the UK as they shipped in error. Having played with it I realised that it will never be mounted with my phone again just to avoid further frustration and disappointment. Looking at your video I can see how bad it actually is as it can't even keep the horizon straight which is what I have also found when spending several hours testing mine. Just like you I would strongly advise anyone from buying it and instead saving a bit more and buying motorised gimbal.

Agreed, I wouldn't recommend this product. You might find use for it with a GoPro but just as you said save up and buy a different gimbal, i got the DJI OSMO mobile 2 for $35 from official website and you can get an adapter for GoPro

I can't help but agree with other ppl here.. you can't expect miracles for the price, and you shouldn't expect the kind of look that a 3 axis gimbal would give.. but in my experience, it barely keeps the horizon level, which is the main point of this device...

@@SkillipEvolver yep that was the main disappointment for me too. Not the fact that it can't stabilise footage but the fact that it can't even level the horizon. I haven't used it after the first afternoon with it trying different modes with the hope that at least something will give me something that I'll be able to use but I realised that I can get way better results with my hands than with Gravgrip. I don't even wonder that there has been no more updates from Gravgrip on Indiegogo after the last one few weeks ago. I'm yet to find a person praising this device. This cost me over $80 with shipping and custom charges to the UK and got additional $10 I could have bought DJI Osmo mobile 3 😀 but I did believe in what Gravgrip were marketing and bought into this idea. Well at least leant my lesson.

Это устройство полный шлак! НЕ ПОКУПАЙТЕ ЕГО! Я заказал, пришло, но оно может только в стабилизацию с движущихся объектов. Скейт, машина, лыжи и т.д. При ходьбе стабилизации нет. Полный шлак.

@@si_fam тут скорее не на машину, а если ты едешь и с палки им снимаешь (как на видео в рекламном ролике)

@@marbidullive ааа понятно, да думаю в этом плане его можно попробовать но и то только с GoPro со смартфоном бесполезно

@@si_fam если у GoPro есть электронная стабилизация то ещё куда ни шло... а со старыми версиями прошек так себе.
