Great time with friend on a winter day. Love fishing in the winter, seems so quiet and also rewarding. The males seem to darken up with the cold water, that did look like the same fish caught earlier. Well done guys.

Where I live on the west coast we rarely get the opertunity to fish in the snow for steelhead but when we do get those snow days it makes for a special day on the water

Cooking spray works for a bit, along with chapstick. Haven't tried any but commercial pastes are also available. Good luck!

Our browns are dead bro. Unless u got a boat and go on the lower you ain’t gonna find consistent brown bite and if u do you’re shoulder to shoulder with other dudes. Til they stock more which they never will, it’s gonna only get worse with more guys keeping trout for eggs on account of our salmon diminishing. And u also have to take into consideration all the summer charter captains that are gonna start targeting in the summer as well seeing as how there’s less kings every year and more clients booking king charters. So what do you think they’ll target? Browns and steelhead. It’s a sad state we are going to for our fishery.

@@FishFray Fished 18 Mile Creek/Burt Dam In Niagara County in the 90's & 2000;s...was some of the best brown fishing in USA especially late October or first November. It slowed down after 2018. Saw the most dope stingers of browns ever caught!!! These guys had a 5 man limit of 5 each, not one was under 10#...biggest pushing 17#. Many people we stayed with over the years landed wall hangers 16#. I got my brown on the wall from the Niagara River in March 2003 boat fishing. Also fished Niagara Bar in February with 5 guys...we all limited with slab browns at green can 2001 season. What a sight!! That's why we traveled from Detroit area to New York thru Canada. 👈🐟
