Great film and achievement, Ben and Christina. I walked from John O’Groats to Ullapool years ago, before the CWT had a name, and It was the best thing I ever did, lots of memories. You might be interested in a book, ‘Landlines’, by Raynor Winn, her account of walking the CRT with her husband, as he was suffering from a terminal degenerative disease. They started at the lighthouse and walked south, then did the WHW and continued all the way to Cornwall. Her husbands condition improved dramatically along the way.

What a great journey you have had. I am glad that the SNT did not make it easy for you as it is in these times you really begin to understand the incredible things you are capable of. Resilience and perseverance, when it is easier to quit, makes these adventures truly memorable and proud worthy. Hope to see you guys on a UK trail very soon. Until then happy times with family and Bobo. ❤

Congratulations for completing your journey and thank you for taking us along. I can’t express how much I enjoyed your videos with the beautiful vistas and interesting villages you passed through, the Botha’s you stayed at and the historical sites you saw. I visited Scotland many years ago and loved it especially the Highlands. Thank you for taking me back to those memories. I look forward to seeing your next adventure. Love it especially when you hike in the UK. How about walking along the coast of Cornwall. There are many little villages to visit and eat in 😀 Whatever you choose I know it will be wonderful for you both. ❤

Bless you both. You're a lovely couple, and you averaged over 15 miles a day on what is the toughest long distance trail in Britain. Also the music soundtrack was superb and appropriate every single day. As for next, perhaps Wales ? The Cambrian Trail from he coast of South Wales to the coast of North Wales is quite a challenge, but shorter and surely not as gruelling as the CWT ! Also, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path is a beautiful 168 mile long coastal trail along the coast at the south-western tip of Wales. Or how sbout w hike around the edge of Wales, taking the Wales Coast Path and linking each end up with the Offa's Dyke Path which runs approx along thr English/Welsh border. I think that the whole circuit eould be about 900 miles !! From a personal point of view, i'd love to see you do the North Downs Way. A bit like the South Downs Way but with more woodland. Beautiful but unspectacular compared to most of the other trails, and often noise pollution at various stages from motorways nearby, especially the M25 London Orbital motorway. It's about 140 miles long and runs along some of the White Cliffs of Dover at its eastern end, with views across the sea to France on most days, about 25 miles away . The NDW is the only long distance path thay i've ever walked in full. It also evokes memories of lovely summer holidays when I was a kid , staying with relatives in the Folkestone and Dover area. I'm curious, does Bo Bo cope okay with you being away for so long ? Also, i'm glad that the track between Cape Wrath and the ferry near Durness was repaired in time for you to take advantage of the minibus ! 😃👏👏👏

Hope you enjoyed your time in Scotland. A shame you missed the bit from Inchnadamph to Kylestrome. , one of my favourite bits for scenery and highest waterfall. Maybe you should try the Skye Trail . Amazing Scenery.

I love long distance walks although I am more in the few weeks to a maximum of 2 months due to to work. I have a suggestion for you, instead of another long A-B walk (although I still recommend Pyrenees GR10) climbing all the wainrights in the Lake District might be a fun alternative. Different scenery and different bases. It is something that I have in mind in the next few years.

Amazing experience, Christina, a long walk indeed. And some typically Scottish weather on the final day. So glad you got lucky with accommodation in Durness, a hot shower washes away a lot of the misery of boggy ground and helps polish the great memories of your adventure. There is so much in the world to discover, but I do hope you choose return again to God’s own wee country soon. Best regards.

Scotland doesn’t mess around! The Cape Wrath should be called a overland journey instead of a trail. I don’t know how you knew where you were going. And looking out for red flags? I’d probably be dead or stuck for eternity in some bog. Way to go! Scotland isn’t for wusses! 🎉🎉🎉

Hii!! Thanks for watching!! It was such an amazing adventure. You must do it! To get there, we flew from Dallas, Texas to Edinburgh. The next day, we took buses and train to Kirk Yetholm....it was sooo long and complicated. I used Google map to tell me which bus and train to take. Getting back to Edinburgh from Cape Wrath Lighthouse is even more complicated but I've done it before so I was already familiar. You either walk 13 miles or take Cape Wrath Minibus (if it's running or have space for you) to the Kyle of Durness. Take a ferry over the Kyle of Durness (if it's running....if not, you'll have to walk around the kyle on land to Durness. From Durness, take the 801 bus to Inverness. Then train to Edimburgh. Woahhhh
