I'm American and kinda new to Rich Fulcher. What's the story on that guy? It's like one day he flew to the UK and boom there he is with comedy legends making great TV. It's a rare thing to see. I love it though because I've seen a lot of British comedy and it's always great when there's an American there throwing a wrench in the machine and actual with an authentic accent. I wish it happened more often.
It's just very weird, like Jam by Chris Morris. You spend half the time watching it focusing on the weirdness you forget how funny it actually is. I love stuff like this though, it's like tailor made for me.
ooooooh ouch! sweeping generalization based on *mainstream* American shows. Newsflash, they cancel anything good that comes on here or they replace writers and make sure it sucks. Upright Citizens Brigade says hi.
Fine. Still, you make it seem like it's the comedians' fault or the American public's fault. It's the corporations that own the channels' fault, NBC, FOX, CBS and ABC in particular. We have talent too but the McCarthy-esque regime doesn't let it through unless you opt for basic cable rather than major networks. You seem prejudiced. I bet you've never seen half the american stuff on Adult Swim or Comedy Central or Ovation.
Shall I rephrase? All American BROADCASTED sketch comedy shows are trash. Better? Also they take other countries' shows and make them trash. For example, the Office.
