I prefer that they move on from Demar, Zach and Vuc and go entirely with a youth movement. You can't pay Pat 90 million and not unleash him fully. You do that by removing the guys that take all of the shots from the young guys.
So much this! Lets go! Please get rid of all 3. They taught what they could, time to pass the torch. A few seasons of development and being #1 options and we can add a superstar and make a run at a ship
I wouldn't be mad if demar stays, Matas could benefit learning a few moves from him. Matas is a pretty competitive dude. He 1v1 with Cooper flagg, then tried to 1v1 with the recent #1 pick, i could definitely see him challenging Demar 1v1 😤
If Demar walks, and LaVine is traded, starting five could be…Giddey, White, Vooch, Smith, and Williams. With Ayo, Phillips, Butelis, Craig, Terry, Bitim coming off bench (still need another big) Could be an interesting team to watch. Won’t win a lot of games, but that’s okay if it’s about developing the young players to grow into winning players.
@@caharbo It would be even more interesting to see who they bring back from the LaVine trade. Will it be a contributor or a player they will ship off at the trade deadline. I just hope the FO wises up and bring in some draft capital for the future.
It makes no sense to me why demar wouldn't goto- GS/spurs/ mavs. They all need a guy who can score 20 pts a game every game. Demar has been nothing but class. I'm going to root for him wherever he goes. As a Chicagoan the bulls are making terrible moves, and it all started when they over payed that wish app version of Tatum.
😢 Goodbye DD it was a pleasure watching you play. HOF YES....As for Drummond 🤨good riddance he's through with the Bulls. A measly 2 years 10 million they couldn't come up with for the numbers he put up. Great move by the Sixers especially with Embiid health woes. I look forward how the Bulls will replace him. 😉
I little upset with Demar and his agent, rumor is the Bulls offered Demar a 3yr deal for 100 million and sat on it playing chicken. If this is true, the door or "window" is definitely closing. I don't want to see Demar leave the Bulls but starting to seem like a Plaxico Buress situation in da club.
Hopefully, he will find a better team plays competitive basketball championship because Chicago bulls organization stinks rotten. We’re not Winning championship with Coby White and Patrick Williams
Coby and Pwill can be great pieces to a championship team in the future but they ain't the guy. Hopefully they can grow while tanking and we can get in the cooper flag sweepstakes
What makes me sick 🤢 is we give players too much money 💴 to put a ball 🏀 in a hoop. They should have a cap on how much a player gets paid because it complicate things even further 20 million a year for elite players and 5 to ten million for average players even 15 depending on how much they work and create for the team,What u think🤔 about that.
Sad that the value of Zach, Vooch, and Demar are at the lowest point. AKME kept that core until the wheels disintegrated. Now no one want them. Meanwhile Drummond and Caruso had value and AKME got nothing or not enough in trade. At this rate Bulls should be competitive around the 2030 season.
I will be sad to see Demar go but I think for the Bulls to get better he needs to go. The Bulls aren't going to compete for a championship next year anyway
I like DeMar but at this point they may as well try and get whatever they can for him. He's not going to be happy in a rebuild, and he would just be taking minutes and shots away from the young guys, who they ultimately need to develop.
Reason Bulls FO cannot take that Sixers 2nd rounder deal for Dre is they could never look Coby in the eye again.when they miss the playoffs. Moving Zach wouldn't matter since he was sitting out. I really don't get the holdup on moving him he should've been out draft day. Very suss. Like collusion or bad injury report suss.
FA Alert 🚨 Jalen Smith just signed to replace Andre Drummond. The direction is clear… Youth, Pace and Shooting. The Bulls are getting longer and lengthier as well. The Knicks and The 76ers are now in position to challenge The Celtics. Bulls are NOT done though… I need the rest of the pieces to fall in order to give my opinion. Draft Grade: B+ Trades: C Free Agency so far: C+
P Will is not a high level defender. That's what everyone said when he was drafted, and it's easy to keep repeating it, especially when he does little else.
He is a good defender against wings and in Iso situations and is a good help defender. Needs to work on his screen navigation. So it depends on your definition of high level. One of the best defenders on the bulls? Yes. All defence? No
The bulls will be losing more games? I'll say this again the Bulls got better. Losing Caruso can be easily filled by Ayo. We got bigger , more athletic and versatile with Giddey, J Smith and Matas. We dealt a role player fro a guy who can average 18-7-7. Younger doesn't equal bad or a rebuild. You have a great channel but are a bit of a homer and near sided on this. You have to make these statements after the complete roster restructure is over.
Patrick Williams is just awkward with the ball. He gets the ball he doesn't know what he's going to do. Even when he's dunking he looks like hes nervous! Bulls need to practice some big boy plays
Why would he sign with the Clippers???? They are not coming out of the west and can not offer him more money than the Bulls. To me better off staying with the Bulls. Clippers with that roster not coming out of the west.
I think we overrate Pat Williams as a defender. What are his memorable defensive efforts? Remember 8-9 months ago when we all scoffed at the idea of PWill seeking a $100 million extension? The guy was out for the last few months of the season, may not be able to go by training camp, and the Bulls give him $90 million? I just wish they weren’t always bidding against themselves. Yeah, I’m now extremely cynical about every move the front office makes. As for Lavine, it’s not as if he’s not valuable, just not for that cap hit. If he comes back and gets hurt again, the bulls may never be able to trade him.
The Bulls should trade Jevon Carter, Coby White, Ayo Dosunmu, Zach LaVine, Torrey Craig, Patrick Williams, DeMar DeRozan, Nikola Vucevic, to the Clippers for Nah'Shon Hyland, Xavier Moon, Kevin Porter Jr, Brandon Boston Jr, Jordan Miller, Terance Mann, Kobe Brown, Moussa Diabate, Kai Jones, Ivica Zubac
