Never underestimate a gaming studios ability to disappoint

The unfortunate part is there’s a lot of fans who simply don’t care about 76 so for those fans you’re going to be waiting so long for anything.

I wish another studio would be given a chance to make a fallout game, but there is no way Todd allows that to happen unless someone at Microsoft overrides his control to make that decision.

Really the most i think we can expect outside the 76 news is an announcement of Fallout season 2, and at the absolute most, an update announcement for F4NG

Bethesda is literally sitting on a PILE of GOLD. Every other company is busy making high quality REMAKES, and here it is Bethesda sitting on some of the best games ever made, forgotten...

Bethesda is a company that I have lost all faith in. They simply have no grasp at what their fanbase wants and have no clue how to make a good game anymore after the mid-tier Starfield. People have been clamoring for Fallout 3 and New Vegas remastered for YEARS now and Bethesda has just ignored it. They have shown nothing but disdain for their fanbase and I am done.

Who cares? How many times are you going to get burned by the same company before you stop caring?

Fallout is more popular now than it has ever been in the entire franchise's history. It would be INSANE for Bethesda and Microsoft to squander this opportunity by not hyping a future Fallout game.

I _hope_ the Fallout show writers don't double down on the whole "why not have them be dumb" and I _hope_ Bethesda wont double down on their money grubbing practices and disregard for lore and storytelling. I _expect_ them to quadruple down on everything and continue to learn nothing.

I’d like to be able to play [insert Bethesda game title here] for 15mins straight without it freezing, crashing, or otherwise breaking. That’s really all I’ve ever wanted, and I haven’t gotten it in 20+ years.

Am I a crazy person to want more Fallout 4? Playing through the Enclave bits and pieces added in the next gen update and sort of enjoying them.

My wish is for Bethesda to make a standalone singleplayer version of FO76. I love the aesthetics of 76, the map, the trees, the appalachian lore, the mothman, the story they have introduced, etc, and tbh it would be the easiest way for them to make a "real" Fallout game which their fans are desperately craving, and it would probably be a lot less work than fully remastering FO3/NV. Speaking of I'd also be quite pleased to see FO3 or NV remastered, but I doubt that's what we'll get. Personally I suspect we will get a fairly standard announcement for FO76 additional content, and maybe a teaser for the second season of the show, like a short video teasing the lore/location of S2 with a rough release date like 2026. Basically I'm hoping for the best and expecting the worst, standard for Bethesda these days lol...

It's just going to be 76 updates and an announcement that they are finally fixing the next gen update. Even a season 2 tease for the show is an ambitious expectation.

It’s crazy that we get new far cry, assassins Creed, and COD games every few years, yet we have to wait a decade to maybe get a single player follow up to fallout 4. It feels like one extreme to another, it’s either annual or once a blue moon. Then there’s games like Prey and Dishonoured that I love but they didn’t sell enough. Oh! And why don’t we have a new Bioshock game! Edit; I’m maybe just showing my age, and younger people don’t want to play those single player games, and that’s why we get 76.

Todd using that 3️⃣ icon makes me think of Fallout 3 remake, the success of the TV show made Microsoft/Bethesda fast track the project ahead of oblivion. But honestly I'm expecting season 2 from Amazon.

I've pretty much just accepted that it's going to Fallout 76 content. I'm not expecting much from "Fallout Day," whatsoever. No shade to 76, but I don't personally play it so there's nothing they could really show at this event that would pull me in. I'd love for them to admit to and apologize for ruining Fallout 4, but I don't think they even care that they broke it, and I'd like to see them patch everything, fix it, and fuckin remove the Enclave encampments they added around the Commonwealth. But I don't see that happening, not any time soon. I genuinely don't think they give a shit about Fallout 4 at all, at the very least not on PC. They literally waited until they got a brand new audience from the show, and then subsequently offered them the worst possible version of the game that has ever existed. Incredible work on their part, really

I expect season 2 news, a bunch of fallout 76 BS, and maybe a way too early reveal of fallout 5 teaser showing the door opening or some crap.

dream scenario is a fallout game made by Larian, even Swen expressed how much he would of loved to make a game in the Fallout universe.

What I wouldn’t mind would be a fallout 3 and maybe a fallout NV port to the switch. Considering the switch 2 is a realistic idea. Skyrim’s switch port wasn’t THAT bad, and worked while out of country.

I could see them upgrading fallout 4 from creation club to creations. skyrim did it, as well as starfield, but not fallout 4 yet. maybe this is when they announce the upgrade, along with new creations by approved creators

Dropping all the episodes of Fallout was a good idea. All the people who watched the first Episode got hooked and it made it shoot to #1. Hope they release it all at once again. Milking it might be good financially, but Culturally it blew up Fallout franchise even more. Made me happy to see random people talking about it in public.

It seems obvious why Bethesda broke Fallout 4. A FO76 player is probably worth 5+ FO4 players in Bethesda's eyes. Never attribute to incompetence, that which is well described by greed.

I think Ken of Fallout Chad and fallout for hope deserves the hype he's getting for all the hard work. It's not a game but Ken has worked SO HARD for this bad boy. It's also for charity and the year of the show hype deserved (still not a game)

I still remember 9 years ago being super excited for Fallout 4. Then it released and i learned my lesson. Then they released fallout 76 and Starfield and now i have no expectations for any future Bethesda title. If they want the fans to get excited they should allow Obsidian to make another Fallout.

They broke Fallout 4 on purpose so they could let 76 flourish... right? It's hard to believe that it was a coincidence. Ok, it probably was, but the optics look so bad, and why does Bethesda deserve any benefit of the doubt from us?

I just gotta say... that sweatshirt. I had that same shirt when I was a kid in the late 80's/early 90's after the 1989 Batman movie came out. That is a blast from the past! :P

The TV show got me to finally give 76 a try, and I'm still playing it daily. Hopefully Bethesda puts some quality updates coming forward because they have a real chance to grow 76.

there’s gonna be so much backlash no matter what they announce. it’s gonna be everything except an actual game and that’s bound to piss people off. and they’ll wonder why their fans are starting to look at them in a different light even though they just put out “the best game they’ve ever made”

I remember getting new Vegas for Christmas as a kid and just being shocked that I already got a new fallout.... Those were the days 😢

There will be no teaser for the tv series since they will start filming season 2 in November. "Leslie Uggams, who played Betty Pearson in the first season of the show, says that Fallout season 2 begins filming next month." (Insider gaming)

I think realistically, it's going to be new fallout 76 stuff, teaser or BTS for Fallout season 2, and at the most, an announcement for a fallout 3 or new Vegas remake/remaster in late 2025/ early 2026. In a perfect world, I'd love for an announcement of a 2025 remaster of fallout 3, and a 2026 remake of New Vegas from Obsidian with cut content added into the game.

If they host the event and only show Fallout 76 then I will have lost all hope for Bethesda. We need actual Fallout content that isn't 76 and Fallout Shelter. We need Remasters while waiting on Fallout 5.

They need a new map for 76. The Ghoul quest line has a lot of potential.

I expect Fallout Day to mainly be a community event. If we see anything "new" then it will be Fallout 76 related. As a PC player of Fallout 76, I'm already dialed in to what's going on. I've seen the four-star legendary effects, raids, new caravan hireling and pets etc. I don't expect to see much of anything new to me at all.

What I want to see vs what I expect to see have Grand Canyon size separation between them. However I think the only thing I might get excited about would be a teaser for Fallout (tv) Season 2.

My love for the Fallout Games and Elder Scrolls is Beyond bethesda. Im 32 and remember getting them day one and love them. They are a core memory, ill play everyone with love

My expectations are pretty low. Just a Fallout 5 release announcement, and release at the end of the show. That's all.

I hope they say they're working on a brand new Enclave questline. The Enclave is my favorite faction, and 76 is the first ever time we've been able to join the Enclave, and every other major faction has been updated and given new questlines, such as The Brotherhood of Steel, the Raiders, the Settlers, and now even the Blue Ridge Caravan. And seeing as all the datamines point to the next season being Enclave themed, I hope that means a new updates questline soon after.
