I love the original version, but Kuya's rendition, with all that hagod and subtle runs, made me cry. I felt the meaning of the song. I am in a happy relationship, but for one singer to make one feel the sadness of a song is a gift. More powers to the band! Kudos to the sax guy. It was flawless!
So Close lyrics You're in my arms And all the world is calm The music playing on for only two So close together And when I'm with you So close to feeling alive A life goes by Romantic dreams must die So I bid my goodbye And never knew So close, was waiting Waiting here with you And now, forever, I know All that I wanted To hold you so close So close to reaching That famous happy end Almost believing This one's not pretend And now you're beside me And look how far we've come So far we are, so close Oh how could I face the faceless days If I should lose you now We're so close to reaching That famous happy end Almost believing This one's not pretend Let's go on dreaming For we know we are So close, so close And still so far
@@MrPimpleFreak that’s true, but not every relationship is perfect and you’re going to experience a lot of struggles with your partner. I feel like this song just shows that struggle before fully committing to love (in this case, marriage) and as cheesy as it sounds, I just think that it’s very emotional. Plus it’s a nice slow-dance song^^
@@melodystar1882 i understand if you wanna play this just because its a really really nice slow-dance song. it is. but no, the song did not show the struggle before fully committing to love, because the song in the first place isnt about committing to love. the song is about the heartbreak of not ending up with the person you are loving.
@@MrPimpleFreak that's true, I guess I just liked the melody, it would be pretty ironic to play this at a wedding when it represents the opposite meaning
@@MrPimpleFreak Yep I should have played this at my wedding because it certainly didn't workout. Or Linkin Park's In the End... it doesn't even matter.
