They are so damn sensitive about any kind of criticism. Adam Scherr blocked me on Twitter because I said they were like every bad indie show you've ever seen. Dark, self important, trying too hard to be counter culture. They're a terrible indie promotion. And they're super sensitive and defensive about being called out on that.

You're like one of the few people and the only person with an actual audience covering them they should be appreciating this its just facts

Scherr doesn't really seem to understand the wrestling world outside of the corporate wwe environment. That's probably why he's had such a frankly embarrassing run after, even though he should have stayed a big star. I've said it before, but CYN feels like a corporate idea of what an anti-corporate indie would be. As opposed to something like DPW, which is genuinely an anti corporate company run by fans and wrestlers.

I believe Strowman and EC3 have the right idea in terms of betting on themselves. But realistically after seeing these reviews and being able to see the editing choices and match layouts. It's never going to gain any traction. I believe it's just hurting every roster members reputation. I remember when Flip Gordon was one of the hottest wrestlers on the indie scene. I haven't seen or heard anything about him since he officially joined CYN.

I don’t think Adam Scherr has had a nothing run, or a cold run as you called it. I think he’s having a negative temperature run. I believe he is actively doing irreparable harm to his own reputation by being involved in this company, as is EC3, and he’s basically destroying his chances of ever being taken seriously as a wrestler or on-screen personality again.

I delivered a pizza to EC3 once. He was nice, in person. Otis, Bivens, Tucker and Drake Maverick were all there too. All super nice dudes. They invited me in while they rounded together a generous tip for the delivery.

If you ask me, EC3 running CYN is pretty much like how I saw Damien Sandow in TNA/Impact. An example of a wrestler destroying their stock...without doing anything controversial...unless CYN counts as controversial.

I haven't watched wwe for 2 years after being a loya fan for like 30+ years, I watch aew but it's a 50/50 shot on good and bad. I've tried getting back into Impact or watching indie stuff just not for me but I don't think for content, a bribe, or dare I'd sit and watch ec3 strowman or aries whine and not just make shit up to make it up but act like anything they are doing matters to anyone lol so far Jim Cornette of all people has not really touched this stuff and he will sometimes die on a hill bad mouthing people. Look these guys can do whatever they want it's a free country but stop calling your carnie acting troupe pro wrestling or whatever lol

I'm gonna say, this sort of clickbaiting really rubbed me the wrong way. You don't sound like a bad guy at all, and in the video overall you showed to distinguish your criticism of the show from them as people, and I appreciate and respect that. But by making this kind of thumbnail, just take a look at the comment section and realize how many people saw the thumbnail, took it at face value, and now believes that EC3 is an asshole or that he threathened you or that he is thin skinned or whatever. And then many of them probably never even watched the video. It is just plain scummy. I believe you are better than this. With this tactic you may have gotten some instant gratification from some people who instantly clicked, me personally I saw this thumbnail shortly after this video came out but I waited a while to check it out (partly cause i know how thumbnails can be, but also cause i just wasn't i guess in the mood for this kind of video). Today i was in a mood to go on a spree of watching all of these CYN videos from the latest month. But arrived here i dont feel like it anymore. Not to say that I hate you and will never watch a video from you, just that, well it made me lose my mood.

Instead of making the "can't do these moves" rules that they keep saying, it should have just been a rule in the back and just made Canadian Destroyer and Superkick made finishers only. I think CYN needs time to stew before it can be good or flopped hard. With movements like this it requires time and repeated viewings of multiple shows. Like ECW for example, it burned like a inferno (No pun intended) hitting a Cult following but it flamed out towards the end. Or it can become like a Ion Rotten Show where it has a small group doing local shows that are fading out of relvence as time goes on. Overall CYN could be a good thing to shock the system but I doubt it'll make a impact in it's current state.

It’s _TERRIBLE_ when their first benchmark to reach is moving _UP_ to “So Bad It’s Good” level/category. I hate this for EC3. I get why he started it. Future was bleak & ROH had just announced it was closing its doors. He didn’t want to go back to TNA & WWE had just glanced over & ruined him, for a second time (this one even more egregious than the first time, by a MILE. Even if you don’t really like him…c’mon. He deserved better than _THAT!_ He at _LEAST_ deserved a _CHANCE_ to turn you around, on your opinion. Dude has very good mic skills & can own the room on the stick, when he wants to. He has the physique & is good enough, in the ring. WWE isn’t an in-ring-based company, anymore. It’s just not. You need to know how to tell a story & have in-ring psychology more than anything. THAT’s the ring talent & knowledge one needs. Not how _MANY MOVES_ you can do. Less is more. People don’t _SELL_ & let things _BREATHE,_ anymore; and _THAT_ is why wrestling is going to shit! Charisma, able to connect with the crowd, personality & character, character-building psychology…all that good stuff. Most importantly, connect with the fans and audience. It just takes all the others, to get there. 2. In-Ring ability. Now, I know I said you don’t need that, as much. But, what I mean is the ability to just go on there & show what you can do, in EVERY. SONGLE. *MATCH!* Again, let it breathe, & such. Take you’re TIME. “Less is MORE!”, in this instance. But, what you REALLY need is that Ring Psychology. This eludes an ASTONISHINGLY large percentage of modern pro wrestlers. That’s WHY they don’t let things breathe, take their time, & Jody go out there 120 mph doing EVERYTHING in their moveset within 2.5 - 8 minutes! Just ignorant, in the truest definition of the word. Naive. Uneducated. 3. TIMING! It’s all about timing & taking advantage of your opportunities you DO get. Let me give an example: 1996…the Curtain Call & that leading into King of the Ring. We all know the story now: HHH had to “eat shit” for a YEAR, after that. He was the only one Vince could reprimand. Well, he was SUPPOSED to _WON_ the ‘96 KotR tournament! We all know what ended up happening…Vince passed that off to Stone Cold, & that’s the night Austin cut the “Austin 3:16” promo. Probably THE single MOST. *IMPORTANT* promo, in the history of the business just due to what it sparked. nWo’s first promo could be up there. But, that was more The Legdrop Heard ‘Round the World, to cement Hogan’s Heel Turn, that stole THAT show. Not the promo so much. But, what the promo DID do, was show those 3 big bastardized standing together…and THAT was a sight to see. THAT was what was up, at that time. Just that imposing image. People forget Hall is JUST as big as Hogan, in sheer size & girth. Even in his younger days, he was JUST as hugely buff & weighed even MORE…AND he’s Hogan’s HEIGHT. Even at Hall’s height of success starting as Razor Ramon…he was 6’7 or so & 285 lbs. Huge! Anyway…it’s that TIMING! Look back at history & how many successful events were JUST at the right time. Yet…others could try the same thing somewhere else, in a different time with different circumstances…and it fell FLAT on its FACE, to be long forgotten in the industry & its own history; UNLESS…it became INfamous, potentially even being “So Bad It’s Good”.
