Itsuki is like the best guy. If he's a bit blunt in the anime he was straight up brutal in the LN. Before Fujimiya and Shiina became friends it was Itsuki who helped clean Fujimiya's apartment. That conversation where Fujimiya asked him if he really looked that unhealthy, in the LN Itsuki said he looked like a zombie. When Fujimiya told him not to sugarcoat, Itsuki straight up told him he looked like a rotting corpse.

DUDDEEEE I love dangers and objectively that was def the best romance last year, but Angels is just something else for me, I love this show so muchh, I love Mahiru SO MUCH AHHHH I was glad that dangers aired it's season 1 right after Angel finished airing... sadly the animation is ass but the sweetness level saved it.

The algorithm served this up to me a week late, but that’s better than not finding out at all! 1:49 “It says a lot that the first thing she does is ask him what she can do for him” That would be the case. Unfortunately, in the Japanese what she says (although =technically= could be translated as “Is there anything I can do for you?”) is actually very cold and curt. She is basically telling him to go away and leave her alone. She just uses more polite grammar to say it. The English equivalent might be something like “What do you want?” or “Do you have a problem?”.

So glad you picked this up. Don't wanna say too much but I'd give this series an 8/10. It's very wholesome and diabetes-inducing. I do have one criticism, which I'll probably hold off on until you get to that point in the story.
Love it, happy to see You like it, more sweetenes incoming. I hope you had a lot of tissues when both of them back stories kick in cause I can see You cry when it happens... I recomend reading Light Novel everyone who like this story cause Anime skipped a lot of content, Manga adaptation is good but very slow and not even in half of anime in term of content.
This is the anime that solidified my fav fem VA of all time, her voice is just (no pun intended) so angelic and soothing... I was so sad when this ended cause I won't be able to hear Mahiru's voice anymore but then literally next seasonal anime Oshi no Ko was released and oh boy Akane was voiced by Mahiru. Also, Masayoshi killed the opening for this, at first I hated it because it doesn't suit the slice of life aspect and sounds like from a romcom instead but nah I gradually liked it.
well this show is just pure refined and unadulterated shugar. Its not for everyone, some may call it shameless wishfullfilment or to boring but I kindo find it confortable. thers better romcoms and much more interesting and dinamic cupples, Mahiru is just to perfect and Amane frustratingly pasive, and thers very little drama, but somehow I keep coming back to this show. Its a bit like Vanilla icecream, sweet clasic and you can't go wrong with it, thers more exciting and rich flavors but more offten than not I take Vanilla icecream. I guess its my confort food and this is my confort anime romance.
