Robin is WONDERFUL! She is a great teacher, artist and friend! Thanks for this vid! BTW... Her Lynda.com courses are worth the price of admission all by them selves!
Awesome tutorial Robin. I used to have to reproduce and color separate existing plaid patterns for t-shirt printing. Wish this tutorial was available then. I look forward to more of your videos.
I cant believe nobody has commented on this video yet! Extremely informative and helpful. GREAT VIDEO, thank you lol! One Question...can't get the "monochromatic" check box to work? thanks
Hi Robin Great video!! The only thing I was not sure how to do was how you clipped the 50% grey colour into the layer below. Did you hold a particular key down while doing this?
i have been designing wovens for years; this is an excellent tutorial. i searched Amazon and found "Adobe for Fashion" but nothing for designing wovens/ plaids. Do you have anything in hardcopy for Photoshop +/or Illustrator? (preferably cs5)
I am new at this and get stumped at 1:50 I hear "de-select my...." but can't hear the last 2 or 3 words. I also don't SEE what you did to make the change. Thanks so much!
Thanks for sharing this. This is Awesome...dint got one thing ..when u make swathch....u realised a link ..when m trying same i use ctrl T ..but its selecting only swathch circle not the whole thing...why..??
robin this video was great, very helpful! Too bad you haven't made anything new in a while. Just a small tip though you speak so fast i had to re watch everything several times to keep up.
I've made the twill pattern and filled the layer, then made the layer invisible but at the point when one is supposed to click on the thumbnail and the control key, a box pops up with an option to change blending options and thumbnail size, and I do not get the diagonal marching ants. Any suggestions?
